Album of the Week 5-9-26
Afternoon folks!
We've got some great Chicago blues this week. Starting off we've got J.B. Hutto a fantastic slide guitarist, followed by a 2-disc compilation of Chicago blues featuring people like Jr. Wells and Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Otis Spann and many others. After that there's a live album from B.B. King at Cook County Jail and then we get a touch more modern with an album from harmonica player Mark Hummel. Next, it's some old-school Motown with an album from The Temptations and we finish off in the diversity department with some prog rock from Gentle Giant.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!
Here 'tis:
Vanguard ~ The Best Of The Chicago Blues
B.B. King ~ Live At Cook County Jail

Motown memories
.
Brings back fond memories of listening to hits
on my transistor radio from local stations outside of
Detroit while combing out burdocks from the pony's
mane and tale. He would half-close his eyes and sway.
Although do not recall the psychedelic version of
the Temptations mix. Kinda cool. Different dimension.
Thanks for the tunage hombre.
