The insular nature of Drumph's operation is to me one of the most potentially frightening aspects of a Drumph presidency. Corey Loser-dowski's behavior on the Donald Drumph Medicine Show Tour, and the lack of accountability he has faced for his behavior, is a canary in the coal mine.

It seems to me like C99 would be as good a place as any to float this idea. There are clearly disenfranchised Democrats, Greens, Socialists, and Progressives that have gathered here to use this wonderful format and speak openly without being shamed by the owner/donor class. I can't thank the good folks who make this site run enough. Y'all are amazing. But I didn't start writing this to fluff your fun bits- I actually had a point.

Normally it takes years to build up a large membership list for a blog.
Even after years of hard work you will still end up with a membership list sprinkled with, oh let's say, unpleasant people.

I was reading a fascinating post over on /r/SandersForPresident which was beginning to think on some of the same topics I'm thinking about. The question is win or lose, where does the movement go from here? There's some high level strategy in there but one of the most salient points was:

I went with people from MoveOn.Org to protest at Senator Cruz's Dallas, TX office today, for him to do his job, that is to Advise and Consent, as the constitution requires by members of the Senate, regarding a president's nomination to the supreme court. There weren't a whole lot of protesters, but it is a Monday and many people have to work.
