There have been many versions of cowardice over the years, but throughout history, it's never been presented and accomplished in this wholly American and incredibly hypocritical manner. It was good to see the other virtual drifters, hobos and nerr do wells hopping onto the C99 train. I am the diarist formerly known as NCTim and I shall be your sporadic host this fine day.

DeMarkis Stansberry was a 30-year-old black transgender man residing in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
On Saturday, DeMarkis was fatally shot in the head by Nicholas Matthews, who just turned 24 on Monday.
Matthews was booked by sheriff's deputies for negligent homicide, illegal use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
