I try to go, wherever there is a chance for a good fight
against high-class burglars, and I am kept
pretty busy most of the time.

In this primary Stalin's quote is true, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."

I did not not think they would lose their composure so quickly but they muist be willing to risk it. Nevada was the turning point I think.

The tactics used there foretell what is coming. Look for it to get much worse. They fear the massive turn out expected at the Philadelphia convention and will make it clear that you go there at your own risk.

Finally, the big day arrived.

For months, it seemed like the day would never come. He had planned, plotted, thought through various scenarios, even considered practicing. The thought of this day's events had taken over his life.

He had to admit that he was a little fixated on the topic. But, when he first heard of it, the thought would not leave his mind. In fact, the thought did nothing but grow. He admitted that as the big day approached, it had an impact on the rest of his life.

Astronomy: Street Prophets Sunday All Day Brunch (Art)

Welcome to Sunday Brunch. This is an open topic thread so help yourself to the goodies and sit a while and let us know what is new with you. Yesterday was Astronomy Day. I have been interested in outer space all my life. I remember as a child Dad would take to the San Francisco Planetarium every time there was a new show. We watched all the moon landings. It was a special bond Dad and I had looking at the stars. As an artist I started out my graphic art career doing space pictures.

Resilience: Move Your Personal Banking To A Credit Union

Resilience1.jpg
A few years back when Occupy was all the rage, the move your money campaign (https://ilsr.org/tag/move-your-money/) taught me to think about my personal values and how that interacted with my personal banking. I mean, banking sounds so neutral doesn't it? It seems like something we do outside of our daily living, where we make all of our moral decisions.
Then I realized that banking is a value-laden activity. Now it seems obvious, but before I was oblivious to this fact. I'd like to make the case for moving your money to a credit union, as our family has done. More below.
