The Democratic Party refused to put in a plank in its platform opposing the TPP, a free trade agreement President Obama is desperate to pass this year. Bernie Sanders and (technically) Hillary Clinton both oppose it. Nonetheless, Obama's been pushing hard for its passage today at a press conferences with the President of Singapore.
Last night I wrote about the monthly meetings I was forced to go to for SNAP. Well, at today's meeting I was told I wouldn't have to do this anymore due to the fact that I'm no longer considered 'able-bodied' according to DCF rules. This is how it should have been because I've been working with Voc Rehab for years to begin with.
That's a huge weight off of my shoulders.

I saw the Physician's Assistant yesterday for the follow-up from the hospital stay. I really like this woman. She was reading my chart carefully. I was in the hospital from July 15th through the 20th for Pneumonia due to infectious organism, COPD, and Sepsis. Gina kept trying to find that the experts in pulmonary problems and COPD were working on controlling my COPD and she was coming up with no information.
Clinton suffered a fall in December 9, 2012 at home. Since she lies about everything it's impossible to know what was the cause. The official release is that she had a stomach bug and was dehydrated. Possible, but given her endless prevaricating, obfuscating and outright lying I would suspect something more chronic and systemic.

Around 8am Saturday morning the owner of Ecclesiastic Granite Fab discovered the body of Skye Mockabee in his parking lot in Cleveland's Puritas-Longmead neighborhood.
The 26-year-old Mockabee was declared dead at 8:30 after EMS, firefighters and police arrived at the scene. The police report said the body was lying face-down next to a tow truck with blood coming out of her mouth. The police report also described the victim as a man. On Monday the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office deadnamed Mockabee.
The major purpose for elections in this country is to keep the people from dealing with what is happening to them. The TV watching public likes to be entertained and will be consumed by even very bad theater. This time it is very important that the ploy works because the reality out there is terrifying. How can people not see it? They are blinded by the electoral theater. It eats up resources and energy while the system grinds on and continues to grow and ravage the earth.
Yesterday I received an email from her campaign that started out with some truth that was mixed with a few lies. She referred to a poll in PA that had her at 44%.
