Big Win For Julian Assange

The Inter-American Court of Human Rights based in Costa Rica has ruled that the British government has to let Assange leave the Ecuadorian embassy without harassment or threat of arrest and let him go to Ecuador where he was granted citizenship. The big question is will they allow this to happen? The bigger question is that if he is allowed to board a plane what will the US ask its allies to do?

Where else are they going to go?

Everywhere you look these days you see worry over how the move to the left by the democrats base will turn off moderates.
The universal consensus remains that you must go to the center.

Funny how that never applies to conservatives.
For decades the attitude for democrats to the left went, "Where else are they going to go?"

Where they went is not to the polls.

Voter turnout ranged between 60% to just 40% on non-presidential elections.

Give It Up For Robert Scheer: Russian Red Herring Hysteria Is A Dangerous Farce, And The Warmongering Democrats Need To Be Called On It.

Not many have chanced to stick their neck up and yell above the corporate calliope of the Russian Red Herring Circus Show. Add Scheer to a very exclusive roll call of truthtellers.

I found this at Truthdig yesterday (published on the 11th). Here's a link to the full text, and then some blockquote excerpts:

UPDATED: ACTUAL INDICTMENT LINK - (Today in the annals of History’s Most Futile Gestures): Mueller indicts 12 Russians for hacking into DNC

Booby is going to play this tired fraud of political/legal malfeasance out to its bitter, cynical, dishonest, ridiculous end.

The Logos of Ares

Glory for the greatest, and the greatest act in my name.
What use a return to home if not a return with honor?
For the poor soldier who returns without tribute and scars
The city screams as to his cowardice, and rightly so.

A hero fights his all, and retreats when the blood has left
It is no shame to seek recovery for a wound, provided that wound
was fairly gained by the hand of an enemy.
It is shame to quail and flatter and seek to hide away.
