Big Al just published a remarkable essay: about the fifth anniversary of the Syrian War. Not only is the essay itself quite good but most of the commentary is very informative. The variety of sources relied upon by the community is remarkable.
I love when someone comes up with what to me are ideas I have never thought of or even considered. In this case I have known the effect of horrible (monsterous) architecture in communities and rejected it more than a half century ago in favor of log cabins, homemade adobe structures, and, here in the Caribbean, old style local wood shack design.
I saw this article, "Syrian Children are Starving" which caused me to write, to tell others, "hey others, look at what's happening!"
Ya, the government and corporate media will just paint it the other way, up is down you know. They have since Obama's war on Syria began. That's our life now. We laughed, maybe never thought it would happen, then we realized we're in that book. We're extras. Did it happen while we weren't looking?
