I'm veering onto a different track starting with this essay. I'll look at how specific cities fared in the 2020 general election regarding widespread voter fraud. Election fraud claims tend to single out cities with substantial numbers of Black and Brown residents. Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Milwaukee, for example.
The full headline I'm responding to was "Breaking: A Printer in Michigan Printed Tens of Thousands of Excess Pennsylvania Ballots Which Were Shipped to New York and Fraudulently Filled Out Before Being Delivered to Pennsylvania", but I shortened the lie for better flow.
In the spirit of bigger and bigger lies, the "data scientists" I debunked yesterday (Election Fraud Lies, Georgia Edition), are back with a 25-fold increased lie about the presidential election in Pennsylvania.
This Election Fraud Lie uses the same type of flawed analysis of time-stamped election result feeds as the Virginia "switch" and other phony claims did. This particular form of "analysis" is very popular with Election Truthers because it can be couched in "scientific" terms and fed through the rightwing lie multiplier of far-right blogs even though it's based on a fundamental misunderstanding of election data feeds.
The origin of most of the election fraud claims is a human error in Antrim County, MI. Antrim briefly reported more votes for Biden than Trump. This rural county in northern Michigan is dominated by Republicans and voted for Trump over Biden by 9,748 to 5,960. Their mistake has been cited thousands of times as proof that the election was stolen.

An affidavit is a statement signed by a person who swears a certain thing or things are true. The identity of the person but not the truth of their beliefs is verified by a Notary Public.

This Election Fraud Lie by Election Truthers is used against Pennsylvania as well as the 5 other battleground states Trump lost. Since the lie is basically the same in each state, I selected Pennsylvania as my target because I have the most complete statistics from there.
