Unbelievably we are told to expect death, a lot of death. Unnecessary death due to incompetence. But please accept lots of it. Saying so somehow makes it okay. The memo has been sent. The meme prepares us. Blooding the hounds.
Last week the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, to not much fanfare, predicted that 47 million workers will lose their jobs just in second quarter 2020.
Or to put it another way.
As most of us struggle to make rent and get unemployment applications into overloaded State jobs service portals, it may help to know that the Powers That Be have already concluded that America has run out of options to deal with the Coronavirus crisis.
