So, tomorrow I will have the privilege of watching my wonderful daughter perform in a student dance concert at the Baryshnikov Theatre in NYC, then, I will get on a plane and fly to Standing Rock ND, most likely to be beaten, tear-gassed, shot at with rubber bullets, and sprayed with water-cannons in sub-freezing temperatures, all to support a group of Native Americans trying to keep their water from being poisoned by corporate greed and governmental complicity.

There is an old saying on Wall Street: "No one rings a bell at the top."
Guess what? The bell, like in 2006, isn't ringing.

The 2016 election saw Donald Trump win against Hillary Clinton with an unexpected victory, with Trump scoring 306 Electoral College votes compared to Clinton's 232. With that victory however, comes the dissenting cries as Clinton won the popular vote by roughly 2 million votes. This has sparked a wide number of debates, ranging from the issues of democracy, the need to scrap the Electoral College, overturning the Electoral College, illegitimate wins, and more.

Obama's press secretary said yesterday that the president will not do anything to help the water protectors. He wants the pipeline project completed. I'm not surprised, but I am disgusted. Video is less than a minute.

That's an extreme claim I'm making, but then these are extreme times. People are right to fear Donald Trump as President. My only question is where were those people as President Obama took away our protections under the Constitution, one by one? When he declared war on American citizens at home and abroad?
