The New American Dream: Dying In Debt

I found this statistic stunning.
American workers may be earning less, but they've almost never been more confident.

With respect to the emails of the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, Her Presidential Campaign Chair, I am focused upon only: (1) the First Amendment; (2) the lack of integrity of "our" government and "our" media; and (3) the sheepleness and/or disinterest of many too easily-duped/led Americans. (None of us. Other Americans.) Therefore, this essay assumes that the Russian government ordered hacking of the computers of the DNC and Podesta.
Progress takes time, baby steps. If you want something, you have to start at the bottom and work your way up. That's the way Bernie Sanders sees it with health care for Americans. Instead of demanding a single payer health care system NOW, like that described in HR 676, a legitimate single payer plan that now has 72 cosponsors in Congress, Bernie thinks it's "prudent" to improve Obamacare first by adding a public option to it, to "work toward" Medicare for all.

Occasionally I visit old sites where I've been bumped and banned from, just to check out their current reality. These infrequent visits, unfortunately, pretty much confirm my view of the rump Democratic Party. They have learned nothing.
Exhibit A today is a post by "Doug!" at Balloon Juice asking for donations to the campaign of Jon Ossoff for Tom Price's old seat in the Georgia 6th District.

Some in the media are reporting that Trump handed Merkel a "bill" for 300 billion for U.S./NATO war and imperialism spending. The White House is saying that is not true but it doesn't matter, the narrative is out there and the people are swallowing it.
The CBSN Originals documentary, “Gender: The Space Between,” debuts on CBSN Monday, March 27, at 8 p.m. ET and will be available afterwards on CBSNews.com.
Roger Severino most recently was director of the DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society at the Heritage Foundation, where he concerned himself with "religious liberty, marriage and life issues." But the Trump Administration has been staffing itself with Heritage people, so Severino has been chosen to be director of the Office of Civil Rights at HHS.
(Small editor note: some of these links are probably a repeat from previous posts, but I'm sharing this with friends outside C99 who haven't seen those posts. So that would be the reason. Some of them... well some of them deserve a repeat anyway.)
