My essay yesterday elicited excellent commentaries--and I couldn't disagree with any one of them. Despite polls, crystal balls and punditry, the question of whether LW would consider running as vice-president is currently pure supposition. The only one who knows what she will due is LW herself.

Bernie Supporter vs. the Democratic Party
After reading StephenD's fabulous essay, it got me to thinking about how the Convention will unfold. Now, maybe I'm just odd or perhaps a little slap-happy what with the increasing primary craziness, but the following scene popped into my head almost immediately at the thought of party 'unity' as seen from the Establishment's point of view.
(Transcript of the relative portion, but the whole concept plays out through the end. I see Jake as the Establishment, btw.)
Say what you will about Elizabeth Warren, but she's a damn sight better than Shillary, and for that reason, Warren would make a better president than her. Alas, she demurred.
Now, there's some buzz about making Warren Hillary's running mate. This comes in light of the Twitter war between Trump and Warren. Certain folks believe that she would make for a good running mate. I wonder why that is?
This is democracy. Yuk.
So really, I just tweeted this - there's a meme going around on The Twitter Tubes #BernieLoveWave, so I contributed a Tweet:
That is already done. There is no way that I won't be.
and this is simply a cross-post from Huffington, to encourage ALL OF US to continue the good fight, as Bernie is on the right track, and we know it --

You say you want unity. You say it's up to Bernie to bring his supporters back in the fold. You say Trump is dangerous. You say when November rolls around we'll bite the bullet and pull the lever for Her Highness.
I have some news for you.
Hi,
Taking a break from my HDS (Hillary Derangement Syndrome--where I search the web relentlessly to find negative articles on HRC to justify my feelings about her) I came across this incredibly important advancement in cleaning up one of the giant messes that the FFI (Fossil Fuel Industry) like to make, quite regularly.
This video highlights, in my mind, why it's important to fund "basic scientific research."
