Superintendent Ann Clark of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools announced today that transgender students in the system can be called by the name and gender they choose and may have access to restrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identity. The district conducted training with school administrators on the issue today.

Less than an hour after the Kumbaya first meeting of the NJ Delegation to the Democratic Convention, the pretty speeches about unity, and State Chair John Currie’s flattering words for Bernie Sanders’ NJ chair John Wisniewski, Wisniewski was summarily removed as a Jersey member of the DNC. This was by vote of the state committee, which met as soon as the delegates left the room; one meeting over, the next beginning.
The meeting was held in Chicago this past weekend...sponsored by the Nurses Union. I caught the first bit on Democracy Now. I thought it was an encouraging message to unite and keep pushing the movement forward. I'm disappointed they didn't allow Jill Stein time. I assume it is political maneuvering, but her voice would have given more substance to the conversation. I'll post links and clips below.

Like public radio and public TV, this site is community funded and has to beg for solicit contributions. It's so low budget it doesn't even have a boxed set of the best of Kinky Friedman & the Texas Jewboys or any other such gifts to pass out to donors. Nonetheless, any funds would be appreciated. The following video by TYT Politics, "UNCOUNTED: The True Story of the California Primary" is by far the most damning evidence that the California primary was rigged to favor Clinton over Sanders. It's 40 minutes long, but well worth watching. Unless, that is, you are easily prone to nausea or severe abdominal pain while witnessing evidence of a crime.
The Party System in America is a corrupt vehicle used by the wealthy and socially connected Elite to discourage and placate the Mass into inaction and acceptance of the status quo. Reform, or the political revolution if you will, is not going to happen by engaging in party politics alone.
Corporate interests will always win the "lesser of two evils" outcome. That is because the major party candidates are too beholden to big money.
When will this stop?
The fear of Trump is driving people towards the conclusion that corporate America wants - a compliant, corrupt, and establishment politician in Hillary Clinton.
