Bernie Supporter John Wisniewski was summarily removed as a Jersey member of the DNC

Less than an hour after the Kumbaya first meeting of the NJ Delegation to the Democratic Convention, the pretty speeches about unity, and State Chair John Currie’s flattering words for Bernie Sanders’ NJ chair John Wisniewski, Wisniewski was summarily removed as a Jersey member of the DNC. This was by vote of the state committee, which met as soon as the delegates left the room; one meeting over, the next beginning.

http://www.bluejersey.com/2016/06/kumbaya-over-bernie-sanders-nj-chair-w...

And now there is a petition to sign to overturn this disgusting act by the numerous corrupt NJ Democratic Party Machine.

Devine created a MoveOn.org petition that seeks to correct a political injustice. That's why I signed a petition to NJ Democratic State Committee, which says:

"Democratic bosses ousted John Wisniewski as one of New Jersey's superdelegates because he supports Bernie Sanders. This is a dirty trick that exposes the lack of respect for diversity and independent thought. It must be reversed."

Rosi is among the best. I lived in NJ for 20 years, member at bluejersey since 2006 I think.

Don't claim you want to unite the party and screw Bernie supporters. You'll get no respect from me. I'm writing in Bernie.

we will have to make sure that Sanders has done the paperwork for write-ins in every state that requires it.

Independent. I have not heard anything about not allowing his name to be written in. Do you have a source for that? Thanks.

I'm sure that means he won't petition to be a write-in candidate.

As he believes that everyone's vote should count, it is--I think--more likely if he is asked that he will do the paperwork to allow his write-in votes to be counted in the states that have that requirement.

for write-in candidates. Theoretically, they're counted.

But we know how votes get counted these days.

The ballot is already spoiled by the presence of two candidates for POTUS that are under investigation for criminal acts. I will not be cowed by anyone into not voting my conscience. Go to TOP and spew that "scare shit" somewhere where they'll eat it up.

Don't understand making such a broad statement without looking up the facts.

Yeah the ballot is spoiled......... by having the names of 2 people I will not vote for, I won't choose the lesser of 2 evils either. I am not voting against a candidate.

Instead I'm going to vote FOR SOMEONE.........

If a person wants to write in their dogs name, who gives a Fuck. It's their vote and they can do with it what they wish. If the PTB don't like democracy, get rid of the PTB.

That's the law in Illinois and California. Surely there are more. You can write in your dog, but it will have absolutely no effect. But if you vote for Stein or anyone who appears on the ballot, it will become part of the electoral statistics and someone will take notice. They won't even know that you voted for either Rover or Bernie.

and you read that Bernie supporters WILL vote for Hillary, it just doesn't compute. On one hand you hear Hillary surrogates on the teevee saying how important it is to consider the issues that Bernie campaigned on, and OTOH Bernie supporters get called morons and idiots and are threatened with Trump. They all need a course in "How to Win Friends and Influence People." They lost me months ago, never to return.

There seems to be a level of vindictiveness on the "winning" or establishment side of the party that I find inexplicable.

I sense that it's barely being restrained, for the moment, by some practical awareness of votes being needed... although the fury keeps slopping over into sight.

When the election is over, I think the subsequent inter-party purges may be ugly indeed.

and for what it's worth, it's starting to seem like there is no political awareness of votes being needed. Because why would there need to be any, if the balloting is fixed? In that vein, I look at their fury sometimes as "dammit, if it weren't for you honest people, we wouldn't even need to bother with Going Through the Motions". And it makes me even angrier...
