Lynch-Clinton Meeting in Phoenix

I am interested in the ongoing drama of Hillary Clinton’s email server while Secretary of State. Thus, Bill Clinton’s “accidental” meeting with Loretta Lynch on the Phoenix airport flight line interests me very much. So far the stone wall has held and no one can be sure of what was discussed during the meeting. Many of us doubt it was just a sharing of pictures of the grandchildren.

The Game Bernie's Really Playing & What Sanders Delegates Should Do at The DNC

My latest Vlog (I just learned that's the term for what I'm doing at my YouTube Channel) wherein I discuss what game Bernie Sanders is really playing (hint: it ain't chess) and my recommendations for direct actions Sanders' delegates should take at the Democratic National Convention in Philly besides (1) cheer for Bernie when he gives his speech on Monday, and (2) v

photo DeeDee-500x402_zpsppravfip.jpgDeeniquia (Dee Dee) Dodds was a transgender woman living in NE Washington, DC. She was shot in the neck on July 4. She was on life support at Prince George's Hospital Center until she died on Wednesday. Then DC police finally issued a press release Thursday morning.

The press release marked the first time D.C. police have publicly disclosed the victim had been shot 10 days earlier. The decision not to publicly disclose the shooting at the time it happened has raised concern among trans activists.

Similar to a police incident report prepared at the time of the shooting, the press release identifies the victim by her male birth name and doesn’t disclose that she was trans. However, unlike the incident report, the press release identifies an “AKA” name [Also Known As] for the victim as Deeniqua Dodds.

Broken Government: About 30% of the population chooses who holds office.

In our system of "government" the real choice of who runs our country is made during the primary elections. This is because the propaganda mills we call "news media", state laws, and tribalism virtually guarantee that any given general election contest will essentially be a "choice" between a Republican or a Democrat--both of whom will have been chosen as the nominee during a primary election.

Why The Movement Should Protest At The Polls This Year

This election cycle offers an unparalleled opportunity for the movement to organize and cast off the yoke of the corporate duopoly that controls our election space. The behind-the-scenes nefarious actions that the parties use to control the elections have been more obvious than usual and have been brought to the public's attention repeatedly. The public seems more aware that the election process is not working as it should in the sort of democracy that the US tries to convince us we live in.

Awareness of the corruption of the process should be a great boon to bringing about demand and support for serious reforms from a broad segment of the public.
