Nbc election confessions
Submitted by Jane123 on Sat, 07/16/2016 - 4:38pm
This is my first diary...sorry it is so brief... I wanted to let you all know that msnbc is looking for comments regarding why we will not vote Hillary...you can send a text message to 4243532016...just picked it up on Reddit...
When I sent my message , I received the following response: "thank you for submitting an election confession. NBC News may share this on various digital and broadcast platforms. We will not share your phone number."
That's it. Thanks
Comments
And here I thought--by the title--that
NBC was going to confess its gross negligence and malfeasance in this election cycle. The outlet was going to fall to its knees and cry--like that preacher, Jerry Falwell?-- and seek our forgiveness for them being so weak and greedy. Okay, I am awake now...
Thanks for the text number.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
You know what they're actually doing here, right?
It might be helpful to someone, and it would be neat to get it off my chest to some media moron, but you know they'll use the answers they get to help them SPIN better, right?
It sounds really tempting, but I'm not falling for it. No offense to the poster here, but I don't trust these assclowns as far as I can throw them. Damned propagandist stenopgraphers...
Not to mention that it is just plain
ol lazy writing (cannot call it journalism). They are trying to make the story come to them rather than them actually having to do some work.

Word.
If they want to get feedback toward something productive, they could ask us to help them understand the many ways they have failed our democracy. I might be willing to help with that if I thought they were serious. Otherwise, how can they possibly think that we consider them worth our time? They couldn't even be bothered to understand the nature of superdelegates, which can be explained to an eight year old child in a single ten minute conversation.
LOL
Non stop reporting for 12 months and now they resort to a text message poll to answer the one question they have been purposefully dodging the whole primary season.
Perhaps if MSNBC had been actually covering the primary instead of incessantly trying to manipulate it, they might already have their answer.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
I Confess!
I think she's a corrupt plutocrat with a Napoleon complex who I wouldn't trust to walk my dog let alone run the country.
(There, I feel so much better now.)

You're too kind.
I wouldn't trust her to scoop my dog's poop.
Confess!
Doesn't that make you feel better?

Yes, it makes me feel better!
I confess...
I would actually pay good money to watch her scoop up your dog's poop.

Welcome Jane 123!
I think you have the gist.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Confession
The fact they are calling it confession shows they assume not voting for Hillary is a sin that people should, well, confess.

This would have been my confession
Apparently this has been going on for a while, but this is the
first I heard of it, so thanks!

Is that number a phone number?
I sent it through a few search engines, and came up with it as a phone number in Santa Monica, CA. Confused!
424-353-2106
Hilton Talley
Ashland Ave, Santa Monica, California
You flipped ...
the 0 and the 1. Should be 2016, not 2106.
You know, I looked at that way too much
Heh. The one time I don't copy/paste...thank you!
I confess
I stopped watching MsNBC or caring about them a long time ago.

"We will not share your phone number."
I would not trust any media outfit with my phone number. Period.
It may be true they won't "share" it, but that doesn't mean they also won't sell it.

I have my doubts that this "poll" is associated with NBC News
They have a website, too.
nbcpoll.com
Look at the About Us page.
It doesn't seem very professional to me.
I did vote, though, just for the hell of it.
Then again, I could be wrong . . .
I know I saw a site yesterday re: election confessions. You could either text or respond online. I went to the online one and they had people's responses on little sticky notes.
OK - I found the other site
electionconfessions.com
Two different sites.
My bad.
