supporter, I had been cruising about in the wild for a few weeks and found a reference to c99p. As it became obvious (Ides of March was the icing on the cake) that "mighty tyrant" was never going to relent, I shelled my account, salvaged a few bits, and "what the hell" let's see what sort of rabble develops at c99p.

We're almost teenagers! Next thing you know, we'll be asking for the car keys or something like that.
Five years has passed very quickly. It seems like yesterday that a small group of people was searching to figure out how to create a place where we could discuss current events and politics from a more policy oriented perspective, rather than the restrictive lens of the duopoly. Beginning with a rag tag Google group, it took us several iterations of trying to develop a platform when JtC offered to build it. And build it he did! And the people came.
So Happy Birthday to Caucus99%!!! Regardless of when you joined, each one of you have made this place the great site that it is today. And thank you to JtC!

Almost everywhere I go (online), and unfortunately most of my friends as well, accept as sacrosanct the canard of "Russian Interference" in the 2016 Election. It's like the Emperors New Clothes, except when one exposes the falsehood, their mind creates a whole new robe, the propaganda being all pervasive.
I came here in the Exodus of the Kos pogrom. IIRC it was gulfgal who first started a subreddit for "tumbleweeds", then let me/us know about this great site. May it forever scroll!
