Doug Macgregor described our approach to war as, "Ready, FIRE, Aim!". I think that is about right, or as my family used to say, "You've got your wagon in front of your horse". The US has no understanding of other cultures (and doesn't want it). We are arrogant about our power, which is waning fast, and to put the icing on the cake, we're incompetent. No wonder NATO is losing in Ukraine, and my bet is the US and Israel will lose a protracted war to Iran and their Russian and Chinese allies. These are all signs of end of empire, and I for one wish we would accept it and join the new cooperative win-win world order. Instead, we must prevent the rise of peer powers...how foolish.

I think we're witnessing the US become Israel. We are hitting hospitals, schools, and civilian targets. We plan to Gaza Iran, and we're in for a rude awakening. I think we're more likely to see larger Israel turned into Gaza. The Zionists own western media (and governments), and are controlling what we are allowed to see. There's always a fog to war, but this is outright censorship. When will the American people learn of the total destruction of our bases in the Persian Gulf? When will we see all the body bags and wounded invalids returning to the States? When will we find out the astronomical cost of this war of choice? And now we're deploying troops? Oh, the stupidity!

The U.S.-Iran War Of Attrition – A Global Depression To Counter Total Destruction
The U.S. and Israel are aiming for the total destruction of the Islamic Republic. Iran is countering by globalizing the consequences of a war in its energy rich region. It calculates that the global economy will attrit sufficiently for the U.S. to change course before Iran’s internal cohesion breaks down.
When Trump announced his attack on Iran he named several seemingly random aims that the war was supposed to achieve. It turned out that none of them was achievable.
Trump and his mouthpieces seemed to assume that the war would be short. They had hoped for some kind of Venezuelan scenario where a U.S. friendly government would take over as soon as the Supreme Leader of Iran was killed. Such a view could only be held by people who were totally ignorant of the history and social structure of the society of Iran.
Ignorance is probably the most explanatory variable in the chaos we have seen. Neither the purpose, nor the length nor the consequences of the war had been gamed out.

Many Ukrainian refugees in the US are living in fear of deportation, according to this. And according to a sociological survey, 36% of Ukrainians abroad will not be returning home. Those in Poland may struggle because their benefits have been reduced.
On the fronts in Ukraine much is the same as it was last week though it appears that there are fewer attacks on Ukraine’s electricity grid.
Mad Merz, in a bout of defiance, has announced that the Europeans will not accept any deal in Ukraine that is negotiated in their absence. Merz, espousing the law of the jungle, also claimed that Iran does not deserve to be protected by international law. Well - we all know that international law no longer exists for Westerners but this is worrying coming from someone accused of Nazi sympathies. The Europeans are also demanding that they be allowed to inspect the damaged Druzhba pipeline. Slovakia has cut off emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine in retaliation for the Ukrainian interruption of oil supplies through Druzhba. Indeed, Orban has said that he will break through to the Druzhba pipeline by force to free the oil. In retaliation Zelensky threatened Hungary and Viktor Orban personally.

I think this war spells the end of the Trump presidency. Jimmy Dore put together a great comparison of Trump on the campaign trail and Trump now.

(10 min) The Internet, as they say, never forgets, which is why clips have been going viral showing Donald Trump, JD Vance, and Tulsi Gabbard in past years passionately arguing against endless wars, nation-building, and military confrontation with Iran, with Trump also repeatedly predicting Barack Obama would start a war with Iran to secure his reelection. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger contrast these past statements with the current administration's actions, including bombing Iran and escalating Middle East tensions, labeling the Trump campaign the "biggest fraudulent presidential campaign in history" for promising peace but delivering the opposite.
Jimmy suggests that figures like Vance and Gabbard have flipped their positions due to outside control or programming, and he echoes the sentiment that U.S. foreign policy is being directed by Israeli interests that put the American people at a far distant second place, if that. The global system is being rearranged like it or not. I'm hopeful the Epstein class will lose control, but not certain that global group can be dislodged from pulling the levers of control. No matter my friends we're in for a wild ride, and we will feel these wars here at home in our pocketbook, if not from our own lawfare system.
