Good morning everyone.
Wet and cool here this morning. But the newly planted tomatoes are loving it. Have 3 varieties of onions to do next. Will throw out some lettuce and a little broccoli.
And this is at my backyard plot. It's too early to plant anything at the farm as temps are not warm enough. In fact it's supposed to snow there today or tonight.
At least it's not raining fire and brimstone.
Trump's tussle with the Pope is stepping on sacred ground with billions of adherents. But his opposition to Muslims and Orthodox Christians also seems unwise, to say the least.
His insults to the Pope will not play well with the battleground at the Supreme Court, where his has lost every case brought before it. Most of the court are practicing Catholics IIRC.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Evangelicals interpret his Jesus rendering (since taken down) and their fervent belief system.
Will it be construed as blasphemy?
It will be a litmus test for the Evangelicals too. What would Jesus do?

as to what Jeezus would do, the record clearly states that he would enforce his father's law(s), it's somewhere in that stuff about tossing the first stone.

I doubt he is even familiar with any of the cartoon versions of the book, let alone any of the alleged real McCoys, He just slips into whatever surreal perception as he envisions his assorted crank+quack (we need a word for that) spiritual advisers put forth.
