Naw, just kidding folks. It has been a long time since I've had to listen to a emergency test taking over the
airwaves on the radio, so maybe it has been tested out? Doesn't matter too much either way.
So getting back to your regularly scheduled broadcast, I am devoid of much more than the falsely
promoted concept of 'national security'. Can't find it anywhere, even looking under rocks. Only worms.

A final divorce hearing is coming this afternoon. Opposing counsel doesn't have a single friend in the legal community. Here's why: Her poor, abused client is a poor woman, asking for 2 modest properties worth $68,000 total. She agrees my client can have a $15,000 boat and $15,000 truck, $38,000 in cattle, as examples of how fair she is. Problem: Public tax appraisal records appraise her modest properties at $187,000. The boat is old, has no title, can't be put into any waters except privately owned ponds. Kelly Blue Book values the 21 yr old truck at $1200. Cattle are valued at auction prices
It's gonna be a long afternoon.
My client can't read, and doesn't understand words above maybe 4th grade. I can't let opposing counsel screw around with him.

still go out here with regularity in these parts, due to our occasionally-insane weather: tornado warnings are done when the line of cells get big enough to threaten multiple counties, or worse, organize themselves into a derecho. Colorado gets a fair number of derechos, as the storms are born and grow here in the wind shadow of the Rockies, before they graduate to pound the crap out of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
They changed the noise a few years ago. Instead of a nice pure tone followed by a broadcaster reading the alert, they now consist of a long burst of modem noise, followed by a poorly-synthesized voice reciting the concern, followed by three final farts of modem noise. Doesn't have the same cachet, somehow.
I'm glad that they happen relatively often, at least in the spring and summer. Helps keep the panic down.

...on Deep Dive today. He even brings up the Israel nuclear blackmail issue, that they would threaten to use nuclear weapons in extreme conditions, and the potential outcomes.
He understands the situation, and the limited window we have to avoid catastrophe. He's not all that hopeful. I think it's an honest, accurate appraisal. It's an hour long, but it's a quality evaluation worth the time if you have it. If anyone has any sense in the administration or Congress they'll give up their self destructive course, and take his advice.

Of course there could be a mushroom cloud over Tehran at any moment, but for right now it looks like my skepticism was justified:
It seems to me that we are being treated to a non-stop show of frightening waves of chaos. Covid, Ukraine, Hamas and now Iran. The scares are buttressed by a lot of dead bodies, making it hard to argue that it is all hokum.
If I am just wrong and there really are Zionism supporting Billionaire Power Mongers who imagine that Israel is winning, just like Ukraine is winning and like Pfizer won the war against Covid -- I won't ever have to be embarrassed about my error as we will all be dead.
