How Washington and Israel helped al-Qaeda terrorists take over Syria

After more than a decade of funding an apocalyptic civil war, Washington recently gave the Syrian government it's last, best offer.

The US told Syrian President Bashar al-Assad that it was willing to withdraw American soldiers from northeast Syria and reduce sanctions in return for him shutting down Iranian arms supply lines.

The US was working with Israel and the United Arab Emirates to make the offer to Assad, according to a report published by The New York Times on Wednesday.

What isn't mentioned here is the implicit "or else" if Assad refused the offer. The consequences happened almost immediately.

Militants from the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) currently invading Aleppo, Syria's second-largest city, are taking orders from Turkish intelligence, French news agency AFP reported on 30 November.
...AFP writes that "Opposition sources in touch with Turkish intelligence said Turkey had given a green light to the offensive."

An AFP correspondent in HTS-held Idlib further reported that "The jihadists and their Turkey-backed allies took orders from a joint operations command."

During the US-backed covert war on Syria that began in 2011, the CIA and allied intelligence agencies established joint operations rooms in southern Turkiye and Amman, Jordan, to direct the activities of their extremist proxies fighting the Syrian government.

Izvestia reported that the current HTS attack on Aleppo was coordinated between Turkish, Ukrainian, and French intelligence, with Israeli support and US approval.

Since then U.S.-backed terrorists have attacked Syrian forces out of U.S. occupied Al-Tanf region, while U.S. backed Kurdish forces have also attacked in the east around Deir el-Zor. Even CentCom has gotten in on the chaos.
A collapse of the Syrian government would bring head-chopping Sunni jihadists to power and right up to the Israeli border. For some reason, Israel seems to prefer this.

Earlier this year, the pro-regime change lobbyist coalition, calling its American Coalition for Syria, held meetings with US officials in Washington during its annual day of advocacy, where there was advocacy for financing al-Qaeda-linked groups. According to a report published by The Grayzone, Republican Florida Sen. Rick Scott’s chief of staff reassured the Syrian opposition advocates that “the Israelis want you guys in charge.”

I'm personally looking forward to the next White House lecture about national sovereignty, the sanctity of borders, the international rules-based order, and how we can't tolerate terrorists.

Rachel Marsden has a sense of humor.

So what have they been up to lately since they dropped off the radar a few years ago? “How Syria’s ‘diversity-friendly’ jihadists plan on building a state,” reads a headline from Britain’s Telegraph. Well, that explains it. The piece also cites “torture” documented by human rights groups in the areas of Idlib that the Al-Qaeda successor group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), has controlled for the past few years. Which may also describe the meetings required to come up with diversity policies.

Facelifted Al-Qaeda in Syria now sounds like it swallowed an equity and inclusion manual written by a nose-ringed, purple-haired, gender-fluid Western activist. “Diversity is a strength,” said the group’s head, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, after rampaging through Aleppo.

Does the CIA now require proof of quotas and an equity and inclusion policy for proxy groups getting billion-dollar contracts to do its regime change dirty work abroad – like the much-hyped “moderate Syrian rebels,” many of whom then turned around and defected to Al-Qaeda?

What a hassle to have to worry about all that window dressing when you’re trying to do terrorism. Not to mention a distraction. This sounds like something that only the Western national security complex could come up with.

This guy has a $10 million bounty on his head by America and yet I’m betting that we can tie his weapons directly to the CIA. Kinda like when Bin Laden was the supposed mastermind of 9/11, but was never on America’s most wanted list.

Today shitlibs cheered that HTS terrorists took Hama….. And they are still cheering for the Georgia color revolution. Why? Because they hate Russia.
Oh yeah and they don’t believe that the Romania elections were on the up and up… good golly how did shitlibs become so fcking brain dead and brainless?

Most of congress uses tic toc that they want banned because China uses it to spy on us. Today the appeals court upheld the sale of it. 170 million Americans use for various reasons and it will hurt a lot of people if it has to be sold.

But if Americans are afraid of China spying on them then why aren’t they afraid about how much their own government spies on them? Are people really this dumb? Apparently yes.
