I bet our drought has been broken with over 4" of rain yesterday. We were so dry there was little runoff and almost no road washing.

foreign or international "news" and their conjunction, intersection and juxtaposition has an unavoidable .effect. Today my mind coughed up the phrase The Adult(s) In The Room and I realized that it is only with great difficulty that I try to conjure up names and images that aren't along the line of "Putin", "Xi", "Orban" and the like. How is it that, excepting critics and common taters they're all foreigners.

And beyond that, our heroes, those we idolize and elevate tend to be warriors, how sad is that for a nation that has almost never fought a defensive war? Really. The go to guy is defective:

Someone needs to tell him th nuclear blast will melt all ice creame and then he will be well and truly fucked. maybe he can understand the situation better if couched into terms he understands.
