The Gospel According to Kos

We have our nominee
It isn't up to thee
And now it's time
To fall in line
Behind Ms. Hillary
Despite what some opine
Ms. Hill will do just fine
Some may be peeved
But I believe
She helps my bottom line
I know what some folks say
It's the dawn of a new day
Well here's the facts
Dumb Berniacs
You still must pay to play
One thing that I know
Is that virtue's just for show
It's plain enough
The long green stuff
Is what makes the gray mare go
Now you may disagree
But do it silently
You give me sass
I'll ban your ass
Just read my royal decree
So I'm down with Hillary
'Cause nothing comes for free
And what is right
As per this site
Is strictly up to me

Hahaha!
Love it!
You might want to add a k to now and make it know in 4th stanza, or whatever they're called. And yes, according to some study I heard about on the teevee news, correcting this sort of thing supposedly makes me a sociopath. Whatevah!
Oops!
My bad. Thanks for noticing that little typo - it's now fixed. And thanks for the thumbs up.

You do it nicely,

The evolution of Daily Kos to Daily HRC
In a Daily Kos Diary entitled The evolution of Daily Kos to Daily HRC, a comment by chicago minx reads:
News to us, of course, and especially news to our esteemed host JtC, who's been burning the midnight oils nearly every night since the Ides of March Edict trying to keep up with all that non-existent new traffic.
User pricknick replied bestest, methinks:
followed by some excellent fact-backing by Fishtroller01 (Fishtroller02 here) and angel d about the real state of things.
The original Diary was a Kossack writer lamenting what once was, and the dry husks that are what it is now. And (s)he's gotten plenty of crap from the "mindless, ensorcelled minions" over there who love it just as it is now.
Ah, how are the once mighty fallen!

Well,...
Some of us don't spend their entire day at one website, paid or unpaid.
Let them 'enjoy' the sound of echoes ricocheting around a hopefully shrinking chamber.

The other day I couldn't get in - too much traffic here
For a while. It certainly isn't dead. The pace and essays seem to be picking up daily. The quality of what's posted is great and the tone is wonderful. Such a relief. Such a pleasure. Yay!
Type O? You Shud bee ashaymed… /s
I make typos so much easier when I am not even trying. The subject line took some effort. Go figure.
-see - this should have been a reply to mouselander!! lol
Well played, well played.

Thank you!
I have a lot of down time at work, so I try to use it productively.

I'm signed out of there
at least for now.
BTW, what does TOS stand for? I figure it's a play on
KOS.For at least another hundred years we must pretend to ourselves and to everyone that fair is foul and foul is fair; for foul is useful and fair is not. Avarice and usury and precaution must be our gods for a little longer still.
John Maynard Keynes, 1930
TOS
Actually I think it probably should have been GOS - short for Great Orange Satan. Or else TOP (The Other Place). Seems I somehow got the two jumbled together in my mind. Oh well... easy to get confused with all the abbreviations we have around here!

The Orange Satan...
which removes the inference that they are in any way "great"?
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.--Aristotle
If there is no struggle there is no progress.--Frederick Douglass
Great, thanks!
NT
