for the Left waiting for Democratic Party to play ball. It’s clearly never going to happen, regardless of how hard we try to make it happen.
Funny video......poignant reminder.

Snoop,
These are so damn cute. Unfortunately, it's reminding too many of us how we feel with our pols. How sad.
These are just too damn cute, though. Thanks! We'll try to forget about politics for a short minute!

which are very nice dogs and very high energy, but not necessarily the smartest in the world. I should know since we currently have two springers. They are not stupid, but our pom is five times smarter than they are. So I give the springer a pass.
However the dog in the bottom video looks to be a border collie, which are the Einsteins of the dog world. How can he be fooled by a statue? I bet his fellow border collies are embarrassed by him.

through Frankfurt am Main central business district some years ago.
Unlike my other blind friend in the Netherlands, this friend likes to be able to touch statues of animals to see what various creatures really “look” like. So, as our way took us past the stock exchange building, I headed straight for the big bronze sculptures of bull and bear.
Surprise! Her dog, a female black Lab, wasn’t having any of it. Still more than ten yards away, she sat down and refused to come any closer.
In the gloom, the statues’ silhouettes must have seemed realistic enough to trigger something like an ingrained species memory. “Hey, I was trained to keep both my human and myself safe from harm, right? So let’s go a different way. Either of those shapes could well have been the last thing some of my wild wolfie forebears ever saw.”

Somehow the doggie disconnect is an apt similitude
