A river of rain

A river of rain
gaining power at every bend
unearthing trees of old
wisdom pouring into floods of mud
re-arranging lives forever bound
needing water
thirsting to survive
sandbagging foundations
hierarchies
coming first, again, mistakenly and in rankly rush
having ignored rivers long before
paying in dews
falling from eyes, poor
as mothers weep and children cry
in earth's magnitude, hunger and grief
droplets meet
sweeping away dirt's of piety and wealth
making naked,
joining the flood
as it greets the sun
having touched everyone.

To matter
To see the crying, give them comfort
To glory in the past revealed by the rushing waters that uncovered treasures
To know mankind prevailed and left their mark
To see remnants of love
To make love
To matter

Cheers, "to matter"
Thanks for reading and being here.
Always
If I die tonight, I want you to know my life was better for your being known to me.

In return,
ain't it rich, these friendships we share, fortunate, especially now when all the world needs a friend.
"It matters," paints the white space between the lines.
Might even be better
I am actually, as of 10ish tonight, in some health situation, may have to head to a hospital or dr. tomorrow. I have lost the use of my left wrist. An hour or so ago. Suddenly.
I am not as concerned as others might be, and I am not as alarmed as I should be.
I think I mattered, no matter if I go out tonight. Why linger to usefulness?
The bottom of my left thumb is normal, the top of it is numb. Same as my left foot 2 weeks ago. Top is numb, bottom is ok.
I have food, tp, and transportation.
Cannot count the number of people who care about me.
I am ok. Well, I am in great shape.

Take an aspirin and call the emergency room
of a local hospital and share the news you write and get advice, now, OtC, please don't take chances. And let us know ... okay?
Tomorrow.
I will attend to it tomorrow.

You know best, please do take care.
Not sure about the best,
Honestly, not that much. Maybe a local dr.
We were not promised tomorrow, were we?
This loss of use of my hand was supposed to happen over time, not from one minute to the next.
Wow.
Just wow.

you and smiley
Six harps....
at least that's the ultimate requirement of the score...
Sir Granville Bantock's Celtic Symphony:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3O2B3ZJ0mE]
A very quiet, mysterious introduction. When I first heard it, almost 30 years ago, a unique sound world.
Gëzuar!!
from a reasonably stable genius.
Movements giving way to each other, love the harps and piece
and gentle euphoria when taking flight, racing to climaxes. Thank you.
Beautiful.
