Tulsi Scores 1st Qualified Poll for 5th Debates--3% in Iowa (USA Today)

This poll was conducted after the 4th debate, but before the Hillary Clinton blast:

She exactly tied with Harris and Klobaucher and was ahead of O'Rourke and Yang.

The rules for polling for debate 5 are a bit different--of course all polls need to come from qualified pollsters (that will never change). But, a candidate can get 3% or more in 4 different polls in the 4 early states or nationally, OR they can get 5% or more in 2 different polls.

This one is the first of 4 in the 3% category.

There is a qualifying New Hampshire poll coming up. Over the past couple months, Tulsi has been polling in the 2%-6% range in that state, so look for this one to help her out as well.

Speaking of polls--a Hillary fan for the past few days put a poll on Twitter (Hillary safe space!) pitting Tulsi and Hillary against each other in an election. Over 62,000 votes, but not the results the Hillary fan was looking for:

Good news.

So as I understand it, it's 1 poll down for Tulsi, 3 more to go, with probably 3 more weeks (?) in which to qualify.

After this latest outrageous attack by Hillary and Tulsi's bold, feisty response, and with Tulsi's decision to take her candidacy all the way to the convention, I am now leaning strongly to voting for her on SupTues here in CA.

While Hillary's cold warrior attack may backfire to Tulsi's benefit, I still find it very hard to see her getting the nom. But she's my principled pick in the primaries and most of the other quibbles I had have faded to insignificance.

Here's Why I am Supporting Tulsi for President

@wokkamile Unlike many (and I would say most) of the other candidates running for the Dem nomination, Tulsi has articulated a very clear reason for running. That, plus her foreign policy expertise and dedication to protecting our environment, are the main reasons I am supporting her candidacy. She is the best anti-war candidate I've seen since Eugene McCarthy, and is more straightforward and less BS than all the other candidates in the race.

Good news to see this most recent Iowa poll, which has her tied with Miss "I'm a top tier candidate" Kamala Harris. I would suspect the HRC attacks will garner her even more support, so hopefully we can look forward to seeing her grace the stage in future Dem debates, as her voice needs to be heard, despite of the bias in the DNC and much of the MSM (although glad to see some coming to her defense against these recent, baseless charges by HRC and her minions).

on Gabbard's fundraising following the attack on Stein and herself, but had no luck and wondered if those screens were hidden, as they have been for left/independent sites.
Are there any figures now?

I’m still waiting for polls done after the Hillary slur. Alas, I think the establishment thinking is quite widespread, and a lot of people feel that Obama and Hillary are wonderful, so she almost surely won’t jump as much as I think she should.

Oh, and ... Klobuchar at 3%??! How is that not .3%?

I admit that I thought this Russian nonsense would eventually fade away when enough people started to see that it just didn't make sense that a few Facebook ads could sway the election. Today I read that Russia hacked the electoral college and changed the votes from Hillary to Trump. Now we have the people who put their trust in Mueller bad mouthing him and saying that he is past his due date, not playing with a full deck and other ways to describe how he let them down coming up with new ways daily how Russia stole the election from Herheinous.

Once upon a time smearing someone in the military went against people's code of honor, but not any more. A prominent person who works with veterans is saying some very awful things about Tulsi after Her went after her. So yeah..Russia Gate and McCarthyism is the new normal and the hell with how many people's reputations get caught up in it.

I'm still trying to figure out how some people bought into it while many others didn't? Mass hysteria? Group hypnosis? Ideas?

Tulsi Gabbard has put her life on the line to defend this country. People can disagree on issues, but it is outrageous for anyone to suggest that Tulsi is a foreign asset.
