Time To Expose Kasich

Assuming that the allegations of Ted Cruz being a philanderer prove to be true, nothing could appear to be better to John Kasich to improve his chances for snatching the nomination away from Donald Drumpf. He has been attempting to pose as a rational human being who could appeal to moderates and be an effective candidate.

Blogger varunggadkar at Opinionated Moderate attempts to make this case: " Kasich himself has a chunk of moderate voters who believe in his version of “Compassionate Conservatism”. " [ https://opinionatedmoderate.wordpress.com/2016/02/28/gops-headache-the-r... ] Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller attempted to sell this meme on CNBC [ http://www.cnbc.com/2016/03/02/billionaire-drukenmiller-no-brainer-kasic... ] John Kasich himself pushed this pose in New Hampshire. [ https://politics.concordmonitor.com/2016/02/politics-election/kasich-get... ]

Samantha Bee is on the case, asking "But is Kasich really the huggable moderate he’s made out to be?" [ http://www.salon.com/2016/02/23/samantha_bee_just_ended_the_john_kasich_... ] {Click on the video for more}

Rolling Stone has also joined the cause to break open the "moderate Kasich" lies: [ http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/moderate-john-kasich-is-actual... ] "That's the real John Kasich. Not the friendly dad on the debate stage shaking his head at all the bickering. Not the guy who attended a same-sex wedding — the one who went, and still opposes same-sex marriage. Not the one who sounds reasonable and kind — the one who would keep a rape victim from learning where she can end her pregnancy.

Alternet presented last August that Kasich was "no moderate, but a hit man for the rich" [ http://www.alternet.org/election-2016/10-reasons-why-john-kasich-rabidly... ] - not that anyone back then noticed. But it's now time to notice. He just might be the guy the Republican elite turn to to save them from a Drumpf Drubbing in November.

Rereading the October 22, 2014 article by Bob Fitrakis in the Columbus Free Press might now be a good idea: "10 Ways Kasich Hurts Ohioans" [ http://columbusfreepress.com/article/10-ways-kasich-hurts-ohioans ], especially since Kasich is now poised to spring these same corporatist strictures on the rest of the nation.

Drumpf is clearly more dangerous than Kasich in terms of his ideas, but Kasich is more dangerous then Drumpf in that few people are truly fooled by Drumpf as they are by him. Getting fooled twice by Dubya and then again twice by Obama has left this nation too far to the right to remain a democratic republic. Getting fooled by Kasich or Hillary would still result in a corporatist rule of the United States, one in which the WTO would eliminate any law which interferes with the ability of the 1% to profit handsomely at the expense of everyone else.

There is but one choice to save the nation. But for Bernie to win, all of his opponents must have their true characters revealed.

that Samantha Bee and Rolling Stone are attacking Kasich. Both are strong supporters of Clinton. Trump is the only rethug that Clinton stands any realistic chance of beating. Team Clinton desperately need Trump to be the nominee.

Don't get me wrong, I have zero time for Kasich - he is every bit as slimy and fake as everyone implies. Oh, and I still think that Sanders has a more than decent chance of winning the nomination.

as "the only sane one". Which -- from what I've heard about his operations in Ohio -- is a load of crap. He's as teabag-tastic as any of them.

But if the GOP can bear to flush The Donald, he will be the last guy standing.

And I think he could beat Hillary.

Every chance I get.

Every time I hear someone say "well, he seems the sanest of the bunch," or "he seems like a nice guy," I kinda go a little apeshit.

For starters, back in 1996, well, probably before that, he co wrote and sponsored the welfare reform bill that put a time limit on SNAP assistance.

He's done his level best to destroy our public schools in favor of his massively flawed charter school scam. This, it is said, was partly a gotcha to the teacher's union who wouldn't endorse him during his first run as Goobinator.

He took the Medicaid Expansion back in 2014 without doing squat about the Medicaid Estate Recovery clawback for those between 55 and 65. This is an extremely complicated subject that I was snared into without my consent or knowledge. I'm working on an essay to explain it's finer points, and hope that Bernie will make repealing it job one. But Kasich took the expansion not so much to help low income people get medical care, he took it to look good and help him balance his budget after giving huge tax breaks to his wealthy cronies.

Plus, in case you haven't picked up on it yet, he's really just a Class A Asshole.
