Trump about to dump Bolton
Perhaps Darnold Trump is beginning to get educated about his self-perpetuated deep state/neocons. In the words of former president Shrub (43) "don't misunderestimate me". We all are learning about those plants made by others, such as Stefan Halper, including Carter Page, George Papadopolous, and many others. The sole purpose of these persons was to undermine Trump's presidency, even before it started. Some of the plants were ignorant about their placements into the Trump team, such as George P., but others definitely knew in advance what their roles were.
Now comes evidence that several of Trump's self-inflicted mistakes have done him nothing but harm. At first, Trump believed that having salivating pit bulls like Bolton and Pompeo were useful in putting up a strong face for his presidency. And so they have. But pit bulls can also turn on their keepers, injuring them severely.
The big wake-up call to Trump is discovering the falsity of Bolton's disingenuous premise that Maduro would easily be overthrown by a coup headed by the hapless Juan Guaido and Leopoldo Lopez. Cheerleaders for this overly optimistic assessment include Marco Rubio, whose constituency includes Caracas North (Dade and Broward counties).
But Bolton aided by Pompeo have tried to convince that Venezuela (VZ) was worth fighting for. Oil, oil, oil say we all. Trump knows full well that the two keys to his re-election require two things: a strong economy and no new wars.
Somehow Trump has managed to control the Fed's interest rate hikes, thus securing one of these two political necessities. But war--what is it good for? Oil, oil oil, so say we all again. Bolton has clearly crossed an unspoken red line with Trump.
It starts like this: Bolton angers top Air Force General by pushing for more military options for war against VZ. This and similar Boltonic antics have pushed Trump into realization that keeping Bolton on the NSC is a recipe for disaster. Knowing this makes Bolton's likely departure from government before 2020 (i.e., in 2019) a certainty. Will Pompeo, who famously joked about the CIA lying, cheating and stealing, get the message? Or will Trump somehow defang his other major self-inflicted saboteur? If he does, Pompous's departure will have to be postponed until the neocons cool off a bit. The neocons will not cool off. Trump will somehow have to get Pompeo to shut up (a dog muzzle might be a good starting place).
Speaking of getting led around by the nose, we come to one Gina Haspel's great deceptions. This deception plays directly into the hands of Russiagaters. This woman, supposedly brought into CIA leadership in order to demolish the agency, is proving quite adept in perpetuating its reign of terror. Again, we have a neocon undermining Trump's prestige and authority.
There are many bit players, including Senior Executive Service personnel installed by Hussein during his last few weeks in office, loyal Clintonites all.
