‘Still too much’ money to listen to the Clintons

‘Still too much’: Clintons’ speaking tour prices slashed, available for less than $14

Demand for tickets to Bill and Hillary Clinton’s speaking tour has been so sluggish that organizers have had to slash prices to get bums on seats. It’s almost as if they’re a spent political force that no one wants to listen to.

You may not have heard, but the the former president and the twice-failed presidential candidate have been touring North America speaking to audiences about their careers and “where we go from here.”

The promotional material for ‘An Evening With The Clintons’ promises “a one-of-a-kind conversation with two individuals who have helped shape our world and had a front seat to some of the most important moments in modern history.”

However, it seems that the public doesn’t have much interest in hearing what the Clintons have to say. Mercifully, Sunday’s event in Las Vegas is the final show before the tour finally wraps up.

They are still hundred millionaires, although they have no doubt put some of their haul from having been "public servants" in trust for Chelsea and her children. Maybe even Marc. So, they don't really need this money. Sure, it's embarrassing, but, if they were really all that embarrassed they could either call off the rest of the tour or have the Clinton Foundation buy a bunch of tickets and give them away.

And it was not all that long ago that the DNC considered changing the name of the annual Jefferson Jackson Dinners to the Clinton Obama dinners, passing over a slew of other Democratic Presidents who were neither slave owners nor New Democrats.

Bill Clinton enabled banksters to crash the economy of the US, Spain, Portugal, Greece and other nations. For that alone, he deserved to be, at a minimum, tarred and feathered. Discounting seats? Pffft.

It's not like they are hurting for money these days. Just how much money do they need to live on anyway? I've read that they have over $200 million plus whatever they have in their phony foundation that they use for traveling.

After their first couple of shows flopped why would they keep trying to grifter people? I'd be embarrassed by now if no one wanted to come hear me talking.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

@snoopydawg at this level, they are likely getting their money even if the tickets are free.

@Dr. John Carpenter

They signed a contract stating how much money they would get for every show and even though no one is attending they still get it and the people who are hosting them are losing money big time. This is the very definition of grifting.

But people are still going to listen to them for some reason.

@snoopydawg Still, I’m surprised they haven’t forced the DNC into doing bulk buys of tickets like the Rs are fond of for political books. Or maybe they can fill the seats with cardboard cutouts like I heard a rumor one of the TV magicians had to do for a filming.

like they did for the Bernie section at the DNC convention. I first thought this was a joke but it was true. Good grief. How lame was that?

I meant this as a reply to you and this came from the article you linked.

While the Clintons have struggled to generate buzz for their speaking tour, Michelle Obama shows no signs of slowing down.

The former first lady continues to sell out 21,000-seat arenas as she tours Europe and North America to promote her bestselling memoir, Becoming.

A comment:

The handling fee is more than the ticket itself. Oh, how pathetic Democrats have become.
