Can money buy votes?

.
US midterms to become most expensive election ever.
It is estimated almost $12 Billion has been spent by
"super PACs" this cycle. That is buying a lot of influence.
It is no wonder our system is so corrupt. This could be
mitigated by rescinding Citizens United in part. But too many
political operatives and ad agencies are making too much money
for that to happen. After all, congress and justice vote their wallets.
Did you spend anything on candidates or issues? I didn't.

Influence dollars are poisoning our system.
Perhaps AIPAC is experiencing some buyers remorse
by backing the wrong horse, if polls are to be trusted.
When candidates are using rejection of zion funds as a
campaign strategy, you know the tide has changed.

he would say "Yes!"
AIPAC made some announcement this week about their name and brand had become toxic. They said their new strategy would be to funnel money to small subsidiary NGOs, and "encourage" wealthy individual donors to contribute to the right candidates.
Same money, laundered appropriately, same outcome.

It is now being referred to as a 'bell weather" state.
Does religious affiliation influence voter choices?

But economic frustration does not necessarily translate into support for El-Sayed.
His progressive platform faces resistance in the closely divided state.

Der Orangefurzenwolkeführer delivering his final midterm message in front of the Reflecting Swamp, via Reuters.

Nice bulletproof glass cage, though. The "crowd" estimate is 60 people, most of whom are probably Secret Service or Capitol Police. Or perhaps his producer and that associated dog-wagging crew.

Our tax dollars at work. But perhaps there may still be hope for America.

On edit: and the first link is what that speech looked like, carefully framed by our beloved and wholly-owned media. And, at long last, notice by Newsweek and Forbes that his statement to Fox that "we haven't been fighting for months" is, once again, a bald-faced lie... Shoot, if you've lost Newsweek and Forbes, you've really lost something!

Billionaires shouldn’t be allowed to buy and sell US midterms.
But it does none the less.

The bulk of money spent to manipulate and even misinform viewers flows
back to media companies that many of the nation’s richest donors control.

This cycle of money and influence is turning people away from meaningful political engagement, put off by the deluge of dishonest attack ads that will have aired hundreds of thousands of times before viewers become voters on November 3.

flipping toward D, these states are floated as key:
ME, MI, OH, TX and IA. Some speculation about
NC, AK and KS as well.

And in the house in is varied, but these are flagged:
VA 1, PA 7, NY 17, TX 15, OH 7, and MI 10.

Depending on how things go, that is enough to change the
face of congress.

Trump claims U.S. will halt $4B funding to Israel at end of 2026

Support for Israel among Democratic voters has plummeted, candidates critical of Israel are winning Democratic primaries and even moderate lawmakers are increasingly willing to challenge decades of U.S. support for Israel.

It's about time, but considering the source I have my doubts. Playing some kind of
game I imagine, typically truth-free.

"We were giving them $4 billion, we are. But it gets cut off at the end of the year," he said. "Why? Because they don't need it."
