In a field of broken antlers,

for the fund drive and apologies for missing your deadline for the written contributions. It seems to have turned out very well though.

We had a deluge here yesterday and overnight...we fared just fine but I don't know how others in the area came through. There were quite a lot of tornado warnings and severe storm warnings being flung about in anticipation.

I'm harvesting spring greens and Italian parsley today. The parsley has jumped its container and is running around the yard. There will be a large quantity of pesto in my future.
Happy fishing...sounds like a fine thing to do.

Forty-nine years ago, during an antiwar protest on a university campus, four young people were murdered by action of the Ohio National Guard.

To put the current state of U.S. politics and media into perspective, no one was impeached for this; in fact everyone involved at every level was exonerated with no finding of wrongdoing.
