Where are all the good Russian socialists gone?

There is a long history of high-profile Russians turning up dead or seriously ill in foreign countries.

Poisoned umbrellas and polonium: Russian-linked UK deaths - Salisbury’s former spy is not the first Russian to fall ill in Britain in mysterious circumstances

Ah, of course, that's because they all turned dirty capitalists, became gangsters and made too much money. Na, na, that no good, they must die. Those were the orders from the up on high sitting somehwere on an undisclosed cloud.

Aww, we do love Putin over here, don't we? And will always protect Russians from being accused of being the devil incarnate.

Just look, them Russia haters did it again:

Thia was in 2016:
Today Former Putin press minister died of blow to head in Washington hotel - Medical examiner’s office report contradicts Russian TV report that family members of Mikhail Lesin, who died in November, said he had a heart attack.

This is today:
Former Putin adviser had neck fracture at time of death in Washington hotel - New report raises questions about Mikhail Lesin, whose death was ruled an accident but has been shrouded in suspicion

Now really what is mimi going to do with all you Putin lovers? Because so many thingies not fitting the picture and I should ignore them all? Boy, oh boy, you ask a lot of me.

Some excerpts from the above articles:

Mikhail Lesin’s body was found in November (2016) in a room at the Dupont Circle Hotel, in an upmarket neighbourhood that contains foreign embassies and policy thinktanks. Russia’s RT television quoted family members at the time as saying he had died of a heart attack after long-term illnesses.

DC medical examiner’s office said Mikhail Lesin, 59, had blunt force injuries to the head, neck, torso, arms and legs. The manner of death remained “undetermined”, the office’s statement said, and the incident is still under police investigation.

The Russian embassy in Washington had asked several times to be informed about the inquiry into the circumstances of Lesin’s death but had been told nothing.

Lesin was a powerful figure on the Russian political scene but lived most of his life in the shadows.

“Everything gets stranger and stranger,” Alexei Venediktov, the editor in chief of Ekho Moskvy radio wrote on Twitter about the news that Lesin had died of a blow to the head. The liberal radio station had been part of the Gazprom Media empire which Lesin controlled, and the pair had a public bust up over editorial policy in 2014.

Mikhail Lesin amassed a fortune/strong> (those lovely Russian capitalists) through a company he set up in the 1990s to sell television advertising. He then spent years as Putin’s media czar, helping bring national television under Kremlin control.
...
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE) in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed nearly two years ago. said the documents released by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner show that Mikhail Lesin’s hyoid bone had been completely fractured.

An official, whose name was redacted, is quoted as saying such breaks “are commonly associated with hanging or manual strangulation”, but that it was also possible that the bone was damaged during the autopsy. (me: oh, no kidding, that happens all the time)

Later Mikhail Lesin founded the global news network Russia Today, now known as RT.But he abruptly resigned in December 2014 and was believed by some Moscow-watchers to have fallen out of favor with the Putin government. (Why? Good 'ol Putin got a little impatient with all of those lovers Lesin had at the side?)

Ok, you all know everything about Putin and the Russians. Now tell me, why aren't we in a bubble here, believing that Russia has to be protected from evil Americans, blaming the Russians for everything three times over and then some.

If I ever may have read something about Mickhail Lesin, I had forgotten it. And all those linkage to RT, Gazprom and more (like former German Chancellor Schroeder), I was not aware of.

Look, I still live in the old days, when we had real communists and real socialists and real cold war and not this messy gangster, oligarch, internet mafia powers messing up all my political ideological labels I had for those guys. Those were the times, when everbody knew who was who. The good ol sixties, pre-internet times.

I need some bubble gum to get away from my Russian bubble conspiracy theories in my head. Snoopy, you are the expert, help me!!!

Where are all the socialists gone? Oh, there they are ...thank God I have found some.

Heh, I am no writer and just had to fart vent. Sorry, that I did. It stinks, I know. So, I will go outside a bit and won't be back until the air is clear.

The rise and fall of the Russian oligarchy

Clinton and Yeltsin collaborated to asset strip Russia and after Putin's election he put a stop to it. Any oligarchs that didn't want to play nice was sent to prison. I'm betting that a lot of our antagonistic behavior towards Russia today is because of this. But I'm in no way an expert on Russia.

At one point in the 90's according to this article some people in Russia had no problem with NATO advancing towards Russia's borders. Speaking of this our country just doubled the number of troops sent to the countries that border Russia.

Now tell me, why aren't we in a bubble here, believing that Russia has to be protected from evil Americans, blaming the Russians for everything three times over and then some.

It might be easier to ask why so many people have bought the Russia Gate propaganda. One reason I never believed any of it is because I know that Trump didn't tell Russia to hack the DNC computers and that Russia never did. The only people who looked at them was CrowdStrike and they refused to let the FBI look at them. CrowdStrike's owner is a big time anti Russia bigot. The emails that Wikileaks released showed that Hillary and Podesta cooked up the story of Russia hacking so that people wouldn't focus on their contents. Start building a story on a lie and it's more lies from there.

I could go on all night but hopefully this helps answer your questions?

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Right and I never understood, why.

I think I am just too disappointed and it wanted to come out. I will unpubish the essay in a bit. Not worth a tear.

@mimi

as is China and that cannot be allowed. Iran, Venezuela Cuba and a few others are not under our thumb and won't let us in to steal their resources so we sanction them to soften the blow for regime change. This was one reason why Iraq, Libya, and Syria were overthrown, but Russia stepped in to stop the regime change in Syria. Nope Russia wasn't going to allow us to overthrow another country where they had a base and other assets.

This is just skimming the top of why we have decided to make Russia the bad guys. Just like "Saddam has WMDs" we are seeing the same thing with Russia and Venezuela.

Ecuador just receive and IMF loan which came with mandates for austerity and so they just fired the first 10,000 of 50,000 people.

As I stated I am no way a expert on any of this, I have just picked up some knowledge from articles I've read and from what people have posted here who were more knowledgeable.

There is a global cabal that wants to be in charge of everything with no more national border and the bank crisis of 2008 helped that along as would have our involvement in the TPP. Hopefully that stays dead.

Why oh why did the Italian government kill all of these Italians in America?

Category:Murdered American mobsters of Italian descent

I figure all if not most of the Russians killed outside Russia were mobsters, criminals, thieves, shady people playing dangerous games with dangerous people.

Take for example Sergei Viktorovich Skripal. The guy was caught working for a foreign intelligence service. Already the guy is shady to betray his country. For some reason, he is not executed. He gets swapped. And by some indications he is back in the espionage game, maybe free lancing. Sergei Viktorovich Skripal does seem to have a possible connection to Steele. And so it goes--again, individuals playing with proverbial fire...
