Chatting with America Firsters might be fun

I guess there was recently a happening between Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, and Joe Kent which culminated in a new "America First" movement, which will have to take some pains to distinguish itself from the old movement. Perhaps the big sticking point will be that part of the platform of the America First Policy Institute which argues for "Deliver(ing) Peace Through Strength and American Leadership," in other words, Israel First and war with Iran. Carlson, Greene, Massie, and Kent appear to be too much like paleoconservatives to be for that.

I guess the Carlson, Greene, Kent, and Massie group were going to form a new political party, maybe, although it would seem that the need for this party hasn't fully dawned upon them. Given their agenda, neither major political party is likely to accept their platform.

Recent bestseller The Nerd Reich contains this juicy tidbit:

In March 2014, a Google engineer named Justine Tunney published an unusual
petition on the White House website. It had three main points:
1. Retire all government employees with full pensions.
2. Transfer administrative authority to the tech industry.
3. Appoint Eric Schmidt CEO of America.
“It’s time for the U.S. Regime to politely make its exit from history and do
what’s best for America,” she wrote. “The tech industry can provide us good
governance and prevent further American decline.”

Now, what Nerd Reich author Gil Duran promotes on his cover as "fascism" appears upon further inspection as a collection of bizarre fantasies promoted by super-rich Zionist tech billionaires like, say, the abpvecited fantasy, or like the notion that anything would be solved by tariffs or DOGE. But it appears that these fantasies have one thing in common: the death of America, and its transformation into a corporation kind of like what was imagined in Margaret Atwood's speculative-fiction Maddaddam trilogy, where there are no governments and the only business is the HelthWyzer Corporation.

And of course the other big fantasy of the tech billionaires is Greater Israel. Google's AI overview recites:

Several prominent big tech founders and executives are publicly identified in financial and political reporting as major financial donors or supporters of Israeli and Zionist causes.

Major Tech Figures and Affiliations

Larry Ellison: The co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Oracle is a leading financial supporter of the Israeli military through organizations like the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) and community rebuilding projects in Sderot. His net worth places him among the richest people in the world.

Jan Koum: The co-founder of WhatsApp is noted by publications like The Jerusalem Post as a major donor to Jewish and Israeli philanthropic initiatives.

Michael Dell: The founder of Dell Technologies appears on high-profile lists tracking wealthy tech executives who maintain strong philanthropic and economic ties to Israel.

Marc Benioff: The co-founder and chairman of Salesforce and owner of TIME magazine has been highlighted in regional and international media for his alignment with and support of Jewish and Israeli causes.

I guess the main source for this AI slop is the Jerusalem Post, so it's okay as prose. But what is the greater effect of the greater push for Greater Israel? The suicide of the US military. Anyway, what will be really fun about the patriotic wars we're fighting today will be the forthcoming shortages of diesel fuel and jet fuel.

Meanwhile, of course, you have the suicide of the universities. Once upon a time the elites decided we needed universities as bulwarks against Communism. Nowadays the President raves about Communists who aren't Communists while his minions in the red states wage war on the universities.

So you've got ICE destroying lives, AI destroying America's brains (or at least what was left of them after cellphones got to them); as climate-change-amplified fires burn down a portion of the Northern Hemisphere every summer. it's starting to look like an endgame. The scene been going on for awhile. From 2017:

Americans Are Dying Younger, Saving Corporations Billions

Sure, there's a long history of this, dating back to the Seventies. And you have a dramatis personae:

1) Zionist billionaires (which is to say, Big Tech)
2) Creatures of money
3) Lobbyists
4) Media corporations
5) Officers, enlisted men, and other future cannon fodder
6) ICE shock troops, concentration camp guards, and so on
7) Major party officials
8) Deep state agencies: FBI, CIA, NSA, Mossad and so on
9) Economic hit men (h/t John Perkins)

All parties hate America, of course, while loving their asset portfolios and, by extension, the value of the US dollar. A singular German word comes to mind: todestrieb, or French from Emmanuel Todd: le nihilisme. But the point of this list, which I may choose to expand without notice, is not to depress you. Rather, you are to imagine what fun we'll have with the America Firsters, should such people actually bother with political organization. Think of the things we'll be able to sell such people on! The US is the only industrialized country with medical bankruptcies. You down with that, dogg? Maybe expanding Medicare then?

to hearing what they have to say. I have mixed feelings about Carlson possibly being CIA. Maybe, maybe not, but I have absolute faith in Massie.

@on the cusp you might ask them: are you really America First? Then press them on issues.

I mean, seriously, George Carlin nailed it about twenty years ago:

And these people act like, well, like what you'd expect from people whose real dissent began the day before yesterday. Tell them "well that's cool. Y'all want a country. Good! How much have y'all thought about what it would take to have a country?"
