Is this the clampdown?

Have any folks had problems today posting or commenting on Zuckerberg's monopoly platform? The behavior I'm seeing is beyond bizarre. I can see friends posts and read and react to some of them, but others disappear upon opening. And I absolutely cannot comment or post anything. No banning or disablement messages from admins. Yet others are able to post/comment while I cannot at the same time.
What are your experiences today with the Farcebook?

Both Facebook and Instagram have been down...
...or seriously dysfunctional since at least early afternoon (I'd heard/read earlier reports that it was around 1:45PM EDT, here on the East Coast; BBC is indicating it started at approximately Noon EDT, or thereabouts), today, the 13th, throughout much of North America and in large swaths of Europe, according to earlier reports. BBC and USA Today are now reporting that the problem's worldwide. (See links/YouTube video, below.)

Lots of weirdness. FB banned, then unbanned ZeroHedge
Facebook Reverses Zero Hedge Ban, Says It Made A "Mistake"
Hilarious. ZH includes a tweet from Donald Trump, JR. supporting ZH.
The behavior you experienced sounds a lot like what happened to ZH.
Then there's this:
Facebook And Instagram Suffer Widespread Global Outage
Definitely strange goings on.
Twitter too? Unabashed Liberal posted this in EB
Getting my foil hat!
Got an error here when I tried to post that
Yeah, I definitely flashed back to QMS's post from EB (?) about the importance of tools when all this shit hits the fan. Hit "back", so I'm hoping this actually posts.
Under Pressure seems appropriate. Lyrics kinda fit too, so here they are:

How can you tell when Facebook is down?
Everybody is on every other message board asking if Facebook is down.

I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
I had one incident
Where it gave me an error message when I tried to like something but that was it. I think it was a post on Effin' Birds page; hopefully they aren't getting banned or something.
This shit is bananas.
Oh come on folks...
we all know who's responsible.
LoL!
Nah...Clinton, Biden and Harris are blaming it on the Bernie Bro's.

Heh...
That graphic...
...with Hillary looking like she's having a conniption fit, is wonderful! Lots of laughs here. Thanks JtC!

Elation, in having no experiences.
Weird things have been
Weird things have been happening ever since my cell service provider (the lovely AT&T, owner of CNN, WarnerMedia, HBO, etc. etc. ad infinitum) upgraded to 5G a few days ago.
I guess if Zuckerberg thinks he has to destroy Facebook in order to save it, oh well. I lived the first 50+ years of my life without Facebook. I believe I could do it again.

Well holy hell; 5gers were right?
No snark.
So far
No snark here either. It's stupefying how much in denial humans are about consequences. Not specific consequences, but the simple fact that our actions always do have consequences. It's amazing we've managed to survive this far.

New Clash podcast
There's a very cool new history of the Clash podcast on spotify narrated by Chuck D of Public Enemy and Prophets of Rage.

Thanks for that
Gonna look for it.

I pretty much hate facebook, but . . .
. . . my family members who are 1000+ miles away are on it.
It has become horrible. For Zoebear's OT I wanted to post some of my edited gimp pictures on it that I had stored on facebook, but couldn't find them. I lost the last of my dad's sisters a week ago and my cousin posted fabulous pictures of her . . . but the next day I could not find them. And last year they lost all of my birthday well wishes the next day.
They suck.
And since losing net neutrality last June, there are clearly throttled days. You know . . . when you can get Netflix just fine but c99 and other sites won't load.
