I was talking to a Polish immigrant the other day and he was spouting off right wing talking points about how Mexicans need to follow the rules just like everybody else and the usual "I got mine, he has to get his" bullshit. So I flat up told him : "That's crap. You got in easy beacause you're a privileged white guy from Europe"

So being the dick that I am I calmly called up the data from the Department of Homeland Security. Nazi Central itself. So I could bitch slap his ass down.

I took their data from 2014 to 2016. Pre Trump.
Poland: Denied immigration - 1857. Accepted into the US - 16,567.
10% rejection rate.
Germany: 2161 denied. 16326 admitted. Rejection rate: 11.6%
UK: D: 4233 A: 37490 RR: 10.1%
What about Iraq and Iran, where all those evil Terrorists come from?
Iraq: D: 1013 A: 59164 RR: 1.7%
So much for fear of terrorists. Iraqis are 10 times less likely to be denied into the US than Euro white guys!
Iran? 5.4% rejection rate.
Now let's look at Mexico.
Denied: 211,616. Admitted: 467,205
Rejection Rate: 31.2%
You are three times more likely to be denied entrance into the US if you are Mexican than a European white guy.
EIGHTEEN times more likely to be denied into the US for being Mexican than if you've been fighting Americans in Iraq and decide to come here.
Why on earth would terrorists try to sneak in through our border? Just send their agents through immigrations?
The numbers don't lie. Mexicans come here illegally because they are being discrminated against by immigrations.
If Mexicans were treated as fairly as Europeans then two thirds those denied entrance should have been admitted.
If they were Iraqis, 98.3% would be admitted and we wouldnt have an illegal alien problem.

From 2014 thru 2016.
Denied: 754,347
Admitted: 3,251,054
Rejection Rate: 18.9%
Take out Mexico and the rest of the world is:
Denied: 524,731
Admitted: 2,783,849
Rejection Rate: 15.9%
Mexicans denied into the US as a % of total denials: 28%.
Mexico as a % of total immigration: 20.5%.

According to the numbers you typed up (still no citation link), Mexicans make up the greatest number of any one group applying, so they would naturally have higher numbers of rejection.
Guess I'm missing your point, especially when everyone applying has to go through the same process. Isn't that selfish (s) Polish guy talking about legal applicants vs illegal entrants (and incorrectly lumping all "illegals" into the Mexican group)?

Say I throw 100 passes and 30 are incomplete. 30%. You throw 400 passes and 40 are incomplete. 10% I am 3 times more likely to throw an incomplete pass than you are.
If you claim volume matters then how come if the rest of planet Earths applicants outnumber Mexicos 4 to 1 why are Mexicans twice as likely to be denied than anyone else on earth?
