If You Have Been Playing "THE RUSSIA HOAX" at Home, along with Our Studio Audience, You'll Want to Grab this Clue!

Over the past few months, the table has slowly turned. Now the clues are taking us back to the corrupt nest where this plot to destroy the 2016 election and sabotage American democracy began. Who will be the Insider who turns on all the rest of the vipers in the Greatest Crime Against American People in US History?

Just how dirty was that Dossier?

According to the Tyler Durdens, it is dirtier that anyone imagined. This story was orginally broken at The Hill by Jon Soloman:

We now have insider testimony that — from the beginning — the Justice Department and the FBI were both fully aware that the notorious Steele Dossier was connected directly to and paid for by Hillary Clinton (and likely not the DNC). Hillary Clinton's lawyer from Perkins Coie eventually admitted to paying Fusion GPS, disguising the payments as legal bills when it was in fact opposition research.

The Dossier was thus contaminated and biased - a crucial detail which was omitted just weeks later from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant used to spy on the Trump campaign.

When the annals of mistakes and abuses in the FBI’s Russia investigation are finally written, Bruce Ohr almost certainly will be the No. 1 witness, according to my sources.

The former #4 Department of Justice (DOJ) official, Bruce Ohr - who had extensive contact with Steele, briefed "both senior FBI and DOJ officials in summer 2016 about Christopher Steele's Russia dossier, explicitly cautioning that the British intelligence operative's work was opposition research connected to Hillary Clinton's campaign and might be biased."

Ohr’s activities, chronicled in handwritten notes and congressional testimony I gleaned from sources, provide the most damning evidence to date that FBI and DOJ officials may have misled federal judges in October 2016 in their zeal to obtain the warrant targeting Trump adviser Carter Page just weeks before Election Day.

Ohr's activities also contradict a key argument made by House Democrats in their attempts to downplay the significance of the Steele Dossier; that the FBI claimed it was "unaware of any derogatory information" about Steele, and that the former MI6 operative was "never advised ... as to the motivation behind the research." The FBI further "speculates" that those who hired Steele were "likely looking for information to discredit" Trump's campaign.

There was no "speculation" going on by the FBI. Thanks to Ohr's warning, they absolutely knew about Steele's bias against Trump while working for a Clinton-funded project to gather harmful opposition research on him.

Ohr had firsthand knowledge about the motive and the client: He had just met with Steele on July 30, 2016, and Ohr’s wife, Nellie, worked for Fusion GPS, the same firm employing Steele.

“I certainly told the FBI that Fusion GPS was working with, doing opposition research on Donald Trump,” Ohr told congressional investigators, adding that he warned the FBI that Steele expressed bias during their conversations.

“I provided information to the FBI when I thought Christopher Steele was, as I said, desperate that Trump not be elected,” he added. “So, yes, of course I provided that to the FBI.”

When lawmakers pressed Ohr as to why he would volunteer that information to the FBI, he answered "In case there might be any kind of bias.... I tried to be clear that this is source information, I don’t know how reliable it is. You’re going to have to check it out and be aware."

::

We now discover that Ohr’s early consultations about the creation of the Steele dossier weren’t limited to the FBI, whom he reached out to on July 31, 2016. Ohr disclosed that in August 2016 — nearly two months before the FISA warrant was issued — he was asked to conduct a briefing for senior Justice officials.

Those Ohr briefed included Andrew Weissmann, then the head of DOJ’s fraud section; Bruce Swartz, longtime head of DOJ’s international operations, and Zainab Ahmad, an accomplished terrorism prosecutor who, at the time, was assigned to work with Lynch as a senior counselor.

Ahmad and Weissmann would go on to work for Mueller, the special prosecutor overseeing the Russia probe.

::

So, Mueller has known all along that the FISA warrants were bogus, but the desperate cover-up team gave him carte blanche to dig through every part of the warrant victim's lives looking for crimes — anything at all that could be thrown out to the media and the American people, like red meat to hungry dogs.

Meanwhile, throughout 2018, Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee repeatedly sought to downplay Ohr's connections to Steele. Democrats were relentless in their cover-up efforts pertaining to the illegally obtained FISA warrants, using already debunked assertions as facts. One example is the House Memo on the FISA warrants, which is heavily redacted except for the copy sitting on President Trump's desk.

The Memo defending the FISA warrants from House Democrats - led by Rep. Adam Schiff's (D-CA), says that Ohr's contact with the FBI only began "weeks after the election and more than a month after the Court approved the initial FISA application." In the Memo, Schiff insisted that Ohr only notified the FBI about Steele after Steele was fired by the FBI in November 2016 for improper contacts with the media.

Ohr's testimony, however, refutes Schiff's Memo making it clear he was in contact with both FBI and DOJ officials well before the FISA warrant or the 2016 US election.

Ohr divulged his first contact with the FBI was on July 31, 2016, when he reached out to then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and FBI attorney Lisa Page. He then was referred to agents working Russia counterintelligence, including Peter Strzok, the now-fired agent who played a central role in starting the Trump collusion probe.

Ohr explicitly made the point to the FBI back then that Steele seemed desperate to see Donald Trump defeated. He told the FBI that Steele — the UK spy that he and his wife were working with — was biased in the extreme. The FBI never tried to guess or speculate as to Steele's motives in the Dossier, as they so testified.

So there's that. And so much more. The involvement of CrowdStrike in the forensic work and the incubation of the Hoax is a bonanza of malfeasance that I cannot wait to see fully exposed. If it is exposed before the whole thing is deep-sixed. Rumors are flying that the case could be shut down, buried in irrelevance, and classified forever.

Should it surprise you that Shifty lied about the timing of the FBI involvement in the whole Dossier charade? People ask "when is the last time Trump told the truth?". Fair question. At least some of the time Trump does tell the truth. But Schiff is another matter altogether. He, like HRC, was not born with an honest bone in his body. Can't blame the poor sod. It's just the way he's made. He should be in a kennel or a large enclosed area. Perhaps that's what Trump has in store for him.

Haven't seen unreacted Ohr testimony yet. This may prove very interesting--why else redacted? His wife's testimony, assuming she doesn't take the 5th, might be even more interesting.

spousal privilege:

October 1, 2018

Nellie Ohr, the wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, claimed spousal privilege on Friday in order to avoid certain questions from House Republicans about the controversial anti-Trump dossier.

While describing her as cooperative in the voluntary appearance, Republican and Democratic lawmakers told Fox News that Ohr took spousal privilege, which Republicans said did not allow them to get to core questions about the salacious dossier, and how it got into the hands of the FBI.

Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, the research group that commissioned the dossier.

The fake facts from the Steele dossier used by the FBI to get involved with spying on Trump's campaign is also being used by Mueller to dig through people's lives.

What if during the Watergate break in Nixon used the FBI and his justice department? And that he got some of his first information from a foreign government's intelligence agency? I don't see how what happened with Obama's justice department is any different.

The Obama state department waived whatever problems there were so that the woman Russian lawyer was allowed into the country for the meeting with Trump Jr. And they pit one of their pawns in Papodapolus's path and told him that Russia had Hillary's emails which he then told the Dutch ambassador who passed that back to the FBI.
Powers or Rice unmasked the 200 people's identities that were being spied upon which was unconstitutional. There is so much more information about this crime that has been discovered for over two years. Will anyone disclose this or will we see Mueller make something up just to remove Trump from office? Because there is no evidence anywhere that he did what he is being accused of.

But the bottom line is that Hillary Clinton used her party's intelligence agencies to spy on her opponent to collect dirt on him. And they broke many laws while doing it.

Great rundown on this, Pluto!

... Bruce and Nellie Ohr have known Simpson since at least 2010 and have known Steele since at least 2006. The Ohrs and Simpson worked together on a DOJ report in 2010. In that report, Nellie Ohr’s biography lists her as working for Open Source Works, which is part of the CIA. Simpson met with Bruce Ohr before and after the 2016 election.

Bruce Ohr had been in contact repeatedly with Steele during the 2016 presidential campaign—while Steele was constructing his dossier. Ohr later actively shared information he received from Steele with the FBI, after the agency had terminated Steele as a source. Interactions between Ohr and Steele stretched for months into the first year of Trump’s presidency and were documented in a number of FD-302s—memos that summarize interviews with him by the FBI.

Bruce Ohr told both the FBI and the DOJ that Steele was doing opposition research for the Clinton campaign and that Steele was biased against Trump. Ohr's wife was working for the company doing the research. The Ohrs clearly acted as both part of the source and part of the conveyance of this garbage to the DOJ.

When you see their complicity in the process, you can only think Bruce Ohr told the FBI and DOJ that Steele was doing this for the campaign and was desperate to keep Trump from being elected AS GOOD THINGS, not as warnings or concerns about the reliability of the dossier.

@Linda Wood

One of Robert Parry last articles was about how the Obama administration was going to use the information to keep Trump in check.

The Foundering Russia-gate ‘Scandal’

Strzok added, “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event that you die before you’re 40.”

It’s unclear what strategy these FBI officials were contemplating to ensure Trump’s defeat, but the comments mesh with what an intelligence source told me after the 2016 election, that there was a plan among senior Obama administration officials to use the allegations about Russian meddling to block Trump’s momentum with the voters and — if elected — to persuade members of the Electoral College to deny Trump a majority of votes and thus throw the selection of a new president into the House of Representatives under the rules of the Twelfth Amendment.

The scheme involved having some Democratic electors vote for former Secretary of State Colin Powell (which did happen), making him the third-place vote-getter in the Electoral College and thus eligible for selection by the House. But the plan fizzled when enough of Trump’s electors stayed loyal to their candidate to officially make him President.

After that, Trump’s opponents turned to the Russia-gate investigation as the vehicle to create the conditions for somehow nullifying the election, impeaching Trump, or at least weakening him sufficiently so he could not take steps to improve relations with Russia.

In one of her text messages to Strzok, Page made reference to a possible Watergate-style ouster of Trump, writing: “Bought all the president’s men. Figure I needed to brush up on Watergate.

Since the NYT dropped the 'bombshell' that the FBI was so worried that Trump was working for Russia I'm seeing people writing about it without stating that they found no evidence of that. This was exactly why the dropped that on us. How many people just read the headline and didn't see the results? This has been the ruse since propaganda was created. Fudge the headline to be something opposite of the truth. "17 intelligence agencies agree that .... " is still being reported.

You have done a wonderful job of putting the pieces together. Regardless of what we may feel about Trump as a human being, what has been going on is far more dangerous. It has been an attempted coup and the thwarting of what little of the democratic processes we have left in this country. If the deep state and the Clintons are allowed to get away with this, I shudder to think what lies in the future.

Recently I saw a compilation 8chan posts done by someone named Greg Rubini that was supposedly posted by someone who was inside the Bruce Ohr hearing and also was present for Lisa Page's testimony. I have no way of validating this, but it matches much of what is in this essay.

Below is a teaser. The link above provides the full compilation of the 8chan posts.

remember that information from my reading about the dossier, and I think we've mentioned it here at C99. ...of both Rubio and Cruz — leading Israel loyalists. This was the first Trump opposition client of Fusion GPS starting in January 2016 or earlier. It was paid for by billionire Paul Singer, who happens to be the lead billionaire donor of AIPAC. He dropped it when it was clear that Trump was going to win the primary. My guess is it was easy to drop because AIPAC got in through another door: Jared Kushner. (I believe it was a phone call between Kushner and Flynn that got Michael Flynn shafted.)

Something to remember: Christopher Steele was not hired by Fusion GPS until after Hillary started paying them through her law firm. There is no evidence that the DNC paid Fusion GPS, although the DNC did funnel Sanders' excess campaign funds to her.

Once Meuller is "done," what comes of it? Nothing, I imagine. They say they want to redact the entire report, which we know the reason is to keep the truth away from the American people. The deep state runs things - Herr Drumpf is on to them, but somewhat powerless. They are a danger to all of us.

In any event, I'm interested in seeing what propaganda will come out about it and what the American people will buy. I need to start prepping myself for those in my circle (and those not in my circle) that will believe the propaganda.

i'd done a little more digging on my #TreasonSummit 2.0 diary, and found that in his jan. 15 'Russia-gate Evidence, Please, ray mcgovern agreed that the papers of record noting that the fbi had opened counterintelligence investigations of trump 'as a national secirity threat were...evidence free. boy, howdy, did he satirize jahn brennan's remarks starting with 'i don't do evidence'.

Comey v. Trump Goes Back to Jan. 6, 2017

The Times and CNN, however unintentionally, have shed light on what ensued after Trump finally fired Comey. Apparently, it finally dawned on Trump that, on Jan. 6, 2017, Comey had treated him to thetime-honored initiation-rite-for-presidents-elect — with rubrics designed by former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.

It seems then-FBI Director James Comey rendered a good impersonation of Hoover that day when he briefed President-elect Trump on the scurrilous “Steele dossier” that the FBI had assembled on Trump. Excerpts from an interview Trump gave to the Times(below) after the firing throw light on what Trump says was at least part of his motivation to dump Comey.

To dramatize the sensitivity of the dossier, Comey asked then-National Intelligence Director James Clapper and the heads of the CIA and NSA to depart the room at the Trump Tower, leaving Comey alone with the President-elect. The Gang of Four had already briefed Trump on the evidence-impoverished “Intelligence Community Assessment.” That “assessment” alleged that Putin himself ordered his minions to help Trump win. The dossier had been leaked to the media, which withheld it but Buzzfeed published it on Jan. 10.?

‘This Russia Thing’

Evidently, it took Trump four months to fully realize he was being played, and that he couldn’t expect the “loyalty” he is said to have asked of Comey. So Trump fired Comey on May 9. Two days later he told NBC’s Lester Holt:

“When I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said, ‘You know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story, it’s an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should’ve won.’”

so sure the russia-gaters seized on those words to declare that DT was trying to obstruct the investigation of collusion. the next section rings true to me:

Trump to NYT: ‘Leverage’ (aka Blackmail)

In a long Oval Office interview with the Times on July 19, 2017, Trump said he thought Comey was trying to hold the dossier over his head.

“…Look what they did to me with Russia, and it was totally phony stuff. … the dossier … Now, that was totally made-up stuff,” Trump said. “I went there [to Moscow] for one day for the Miss Universe contest, I turned around, I went back. It was so disgraceful. It was so disgraceful.", etc.

and from UKcolumn.org on the integrity initiative:

the UK cluster of the Integrity Initiative:

The UK cluster is particularly interesting. As well as staff from the Integrity Initiative’s parent organisation The Institute for Statecraft, there are people representing hedge fund interests, think tanks like DEMOS, RUSI, Henry Jackson Society, European Council on Foreign Relations, and Chatham House, as well as from the Ministry of Defence (including EU Joint Headquarters at Northwood), the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and several journalists.

Three names jump out from the others:
• Andy Pryce, the Foreign Office Head of Counter Disinformation and Media Development, who we met at the beginning of this article
• Ben Bradshaw MP, who has been promoting an anti-Russian outlook, including claiming that Russia “interfered” with the Brexit referendum, and
• Sir Andrew Wood, former British ambassador to Russia, and one of the founders of Orbis Business Intelligence, the privatised British intelligence operation which features Christopher Steele, the author of the Trump 'dodgy dossier'.

and i accidentally found a bernie sanders tweet calling out the trump/putin summit similarly:

@SenSanders "Yesterday was a good day for Putin and the oligarchs in Russia. But it was a bad day for people in the United States and all over the world who believe in democracy and who are trying to understand what world our idiot president lives in." (w/ accompanying video)

but fininan cunningham at RT's 'US media intensify pretext for ousting Trump' saw what i'd thought i was seeing: a call for a coup, although he had a few other NYT/waPo opeds, etc. i hadn't known about, including:

"Over the past couple of weeks, the supposed media bastions have been full of it against Trump. An op-ed in the New York Times on January 5 by David Leonhardt could not have made more plain the absolute disdain. “He is demonstrably unfit for office. What are we waiting for?”
...............
"The Times reported on January 14 about deep “concerns” among Pentagon officials over Trump’s repeated threats to withdraw the US from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The reporting portrays Trump as incompetent, ignorant of policy details and habitually rude to American allies. His capricious temper tantrums could result in the US walking away from NATO at any time, the newspaper contends.

Such a move would collapse the transatlantic partnership between the US and Europe which has “deterred Soviet and Russian aggression for 70 years,” claimed the Times."
The paper quotes US Admiral James Stavridis, the former supreme allied commander of NATO, calling Trump’s withdrawal whims “a geopolitical mistake of epic proportion.”

“Even discussing the idea of leaving NATO — let alone actually doing so — would be the gift of the century for Putin,” added Stavridis.

The Times goes on to divulge the media campaign coordination when it editorialized: “Now, the president’s repeatedly stated desire to withdraw from NATO is raising new worries among national security officials amid growing concern about Mr Trump’s efforts to keep his meetings with Mr Putin secret from even his own aides, and an FBI investigation into the administration’s Russia ties.”

there are further examples re: the generals who've been deemed 'the adults in the room', etc., but he closes:

"When the Washington Post editorial board urges a state of emergency to be invoked because of “Russian meddling in US elections”, then the national mood is being fomented to accept a coup against Trump. The media’s fawning over the Pentagon and state intelligence agencies as some kind of virtuous bastion of democracy is a sinister signal for a military-police state."

association, at a minimum:

Hillary Clinton's lawyer from Perkins Coie eventually admitted to paying Fusion bGPS, disguising the payments as legal bills when it was in fact opposition research.

Bill Clinton, while a sitting President of the United States, perjures himself on national TV, rather than admit to an adulterous relationship; Susan McDougal went to prison for 18 months because she would not answer 3 questions about Bill Clinton's involvement in Whitewater; and Hillary's lawyer fakes legal payments; Bill Clinton's National Security advisor, among other things, pled guilty to theft and unauthorized destruction of documents theretofore stored in the National archives, shortly before he was scheduled to testify to the 911 commission.

These are indisputable things, not allegations, not suspicions and not "conspiracy theories."

What evidence? BuzzFeed fuels ‘Russiagate’ with bombshell report on Trump and Cohen', 18 Jan, 2019, via RT

"A bombshell report from BuzzFeed accused President Donald Trump of directing his former attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress – but was unable to provide any evidence to back the claim.

Buzzfeed’s Jason Leopold and Anthony Cormier claimed to have proof President Trump directly instructed his longtime fixer and attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about plans to build a Trump Tower property in Moscow, plans that would have involved meetings and discussions with top-level Russian officials."
.............................................
"However, BuzzFeed’s report now says that Cohen acted under direct orders from Trump, not simply “out of loyalty,” as he told the court in November. As so often is the case in articles linking Trump with Russia, no named sources are cited, only two anonymous “federal law enforcement officials.”
...................................
"There was just one tiny little problem. The journalists who wrote the piece apparently haven’t seen any actual evidence to back up their story.

Cormier told CNN on Friday morning that he had not seen any evidence personally, but claimed that his anonymous sources were “fully read in” to that part of the Mueller investigation.

He also told CNN that his sources went “beyond the two on the record,” and included more unnamed “individuals who know this happened.”

Leopold was cagey too, telling MSNBC that over the course of writing about the Trump/Moscow project, the two “have seen documents. We have been briefed on documents. We are very confident in our reporting," although he did not say whether these documents directly related to the latest story or not."
