Yep, no snow in sight. And the sun is shining (miracle!). Wandering the neighbourhood is a lot easier and warmer. Here's a shot from last year: our obscure branch line of the old Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad.
We have a trip to Colorado coming up. A ham-fisted panorama from our last trip:
Off to watch actual people navigate the actual warmth. Wow!

The only part I don't have a visual memory of
was a black box. Chewy (sticky) like popcorn, check. A bit psychedelic, check.
@QMS
QMS is right on the black box, and the stoner's dream part, I mean a friend told me...
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

Very funny, you.
Mine ate a box of chocolate chip cookies
Yep, their poo smelled just like chocolate.

Does he crawl up your back?
I had a kitty that used to crawl up my bathrobe. Ouch!
Gotta love them though.

Double Ouch
I have a kitty who likes to "knead" my hair at night but sometimes he gets a little too enthusiastic and starts clawing at my skull.

You need a skullcap,
although, that's probably more uncomfortable than the enthusiastic kneading.

It might've grossed you out
But think of the hours of joy you gave the kitty

Stone wall
I went there to ponder life and it didn't end well. Of course.
lichen ferns too

On the way home I saw a fence lizard get hit by a County car driving on the bike path. It didn't kill it, it just popped out one eye and made it run in circles. fuck Then I watched a swallowtail get hit by a truck, I am not kidding. What are the odds of that happening? I didn't even know it could happen but it did, right in my face at the bridge. A butterfly hit by a truck. I picked it up but it died in my bike bag, the beautiful carcass is out front.
The fluorescents have hatched, that is what I call the vine workers, all the management firm workers, they wear the pink and yellow. It is insane around here, the growth is obscene, the greed never stops. It is toxic, makes everything else toxic. Me too. Empty houses all around and citizens are still living in tents without sanitation. fuck i hate this place

Hi eyo
Anyone who feels as deeply as you do about life of every kind is a great gift to sustaining this world of ours. I’m sorry it is sometimes challenging for you to find comfort in all that you have to offer, when because of the exceptional needs of this time, it makes one feel like it's not enough. I for sure appreciate your contribution.
