Depression and Election time in Weho

The TV political ads are jamming the airwaves. Most obtrusive election season that I have ever experienced. It is profoundly depressing to absorb the noise -- as all the Democratic candidates are running against Trump while the sliver of GOP ads all inform the viewer that the candidate supports Trump and his wars against Iran and the Dumocrats.
So even here in Blue California, Trump is the focus.
I suppose that is just the way it is as personality now has replaced objective reality.
Anybody hearing anything meaningful coming out of the campaign, beyond Fuck Trump or Yay Trump?

While AIPAC is busy flooding the primaries with useful idiots,
I find it helpful to listen for independent voices. The gates will
flood us with more concentrated noise as the general nears.
If we get money out of politics, none of this will happen.
About a four week season before the election is enough.
Zionism is a social disease
What is so depressing to me
is how the guys running for state senate or City Attorney are promising to kick Donnie Blowhard's ass
I agree that his ass could use a good kicking, but what the fuck? A bill passes the Cal legislature that requires the ejection of Trump from power?
The situation demands direct action as Trump refuses to follow the rule of law while being in charge of Federal law enforcement. But who wants civil war?
Muddling through is pretty much what will happen. The God of the Bible that Trump pretends to worship will call Donnie home some day soon, and we will all have to clean up the mess he has made of the world.
He always wanted to be the biggest Thing ever. Gotta give him that much. Biggest pain the ass, ever.
I cried when I wrote this song. Sue me if I play too long.
US politics has its own physics
....which differ greatly from other nations.
The physics of politics in the US is now Polarity-based. (No arcs or cycles.) All political conflicts and emergent issues are forcefully or persistently divided into two opposing sides. Thus, a third party is always an alien presence in US politics — a third party is an anathma to the proper functioning of the Federal Government. The ruling class immediately fortifies the two 'official' opposing parties with massive funding, which is spent on media messaging (often sinister, scandalous, or mendacious) that drowns out all other voices during elections. The outcome of the contentious issue between the two parties is constantly mutating and the final victory can go either way. Rather than a perfect Democracy, the state has a perfect Polarity. The outcome maintains the ongoing Polarity — which serves the goals of preditory capitalism.
I'm not able to watch the fake democcracy set-up this time. Do you mind if I ask:
Have you noticed an obvious and outright lie, coming from either side, that is repeated over and over again and accepted without challenge?
Is there a particular color that is being splashed in the political ads of one or both parties? Such as orange, green or purple? Or are the ads colorless or branded with the usual Red or Blue Party colors?
Nobody really cares about American political theater
"oooh, we 'care' about 'issues.'" All noise, no signal.
