Partial list of pathetic Hillarybot excuses for DNC corruption
#1) Let's get one thing out of the way right now:
The primary was rigged against more than Bernie. Even if you hate Bernie so much that you won't even concede obvious facts, rigging a primary hurts all the candidates AND the voters.
Could Bernie Sanders have won a primary that wasn't 'rigged'? Um.
Right now the question is whether the Clinton campaign's dominance over the DNC (which was alleged at the time, too) helped her win and whether, without it, Sanders would have been the one on the ballot against Trump in November.
The numbers would suggest the answer is still no.
i'm bit confused by "rigged" part. Hillary won VA by 30 pts, FL by 30 pts, MD by 30 pts, NY by 16 pts, OH by 13 pts., CA by 8 pts.... https://t.co/GuVxfv2xof
— Eric Boehlert (@EricBoehlert) November 3, 2017
This is a moronic rationalization in more than one way.

Yes, Eric. Rigging usually results in victories.

#2a) How can anyone say with a straight face what an unrigged race would look like?
#2b) This has got to be the most unethical defense of corruption a person can make.
I hope those who say the Dem primary was "rigged" understand they are denigrating Hillary's voters, not Hillary herself. Profoundly wrong.
— Peter Daou (@peterdaou) November 2, 2017
#3) This is just bizarre. I have no words.
#4) If this looks familiar, it is. We saw this "kill the messenger" tactic from establishment Dems when Edward Snowden revealed that we were all being illegally spied on.
Brazile is too smart not to know releasing her book now wasn’t going to be used by Republicans to block out everything wrong they are doing from tax cuts for the rich to covering up the disgusting behavior of Trump and his campaign.
#5) Trump and Republican corruption are disgusting, but so is DNC corruption. At some point "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."
The DNC, which Brazile claims rigged the primary for Clinton, was the organization saying to states it was OK for Sanders to run in their primaries even though he was not a Democrat. Sanders himself said were he not allowed into the Democratic Primary he couldn’t have run.
#6) See response #1. Plus, who gives a sh*t?
Both campaigns signed agreements with the DNC to raise money.
#7) About those signed agreements.
Secret Clinton-DNC agreement proves @DonnaBrazile right. "It's for the general" is nonsense. Opposite is true. It specifies:
Sep 1, 2015: Commencement
Sep 11: Appointment of Clinton picked communications director
Oct 1: First cash payment of $1.2m
Mar 31, 2016: Termination date pic.twitter.com/hvUmdT8iQd— Julian Assange (@JulianAssange) November 4, 2017
A joint fundraising agreement between the Bernie Sanders campaign and the Democratic National Committee -- obtained Friday by ABC News and signed at the start of the primary campaign for the 2016 presidential election -- does not include any language about coordinating on strategic decisions over hiring or budget, unlike a fundraising memo between the Hillary Clinton team and the DNC.
Former Sanders staff members argue that the Sanders-DNC agreement refutes the claim by the DNC that the two campaigns were offered similar treatment by the party. What's more, the Sanders team posits that the joint fundraising agreement they signed with the party was never acted on.
Clinton Campaign Manager Robbie Mook Denies DNC Rigged 2016 Primary: "Politics Is Politics"
However, responding to Sanders campaign adviser Jeff Weaver's complaint that it was "pretty clear" the DNC was on the Clinton side, Mook said "politics is politics."
On interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile's claim that after review the DNC did in fact rig the primary in favor of Clinton he said, "this is water under the bridge."
#8) This is a self-defeating argument. If you want to keep people from voting for Democrats, then this is the right strategy.
The question is: what does the DNC actually do, and can it, even if it wanted to, rig 50+ primaries for any given candidate?
— Joy Reid (@JoyAnnReid) November 3, 2017
#9) So if the entire primary wasn't rigged then it doesn't matter? That's like saying, "What are you complaining about? The cards I dealt you from the bottom of the deck are almost as good."
Clinton camp responds: "troubling and puzzling [Brazile] would seemingly buy into false Russian-fueled propaganda" https://t.co/14b9uuE0Gb

When will the Justice Dems join the Green Party?
Seriously. The Democratic Party is actively fucking them in every way possible and yet they keep running with them anyway. As for me, I'm actually considering volunteering with their disability caucus.

And already, the Dems play to circle the jackwagons rather than actually win some elections.
It is a lot easier to take over an existing party
I would like to see a viable third party and we may just get one by default as establishment Dems continue their purge in order to cling to their corporate cash. It would have to come from the ground up (like Kshama Sawant in Seattle) but who knows--millennials don't have any party that cares about them, and it would become the worst missed opportunity to see them get vacuumed up by Libertarian pied pipers.

Brazile is in cover her ass mode.
She's pretty slimy.
That said, I've often wondered why more of Hillary's minions haven't turned on her, considering the rumors that abound regarding her abuse of people surrounding her. Brazile was definitely abused - recall the stories about Hillary's rage when Matt Lauer went off script and asked Hill a squirm-worthy question? Her screaming at Brazile as soon as she got off camera was legendary.
Brazile has lied so much and so often, nothing she says or writes can be trusted. She's willing to kowtow when it works for her, so this new tell-all tells me she feels an urgent need to distance herself from Hillary. What she knows, I don't know. But I suspect she knows more than she is telling.
Oh and I forgot to mention
Brazile is still full-on with Russia-gate. She was one of the first to push that BS. So why turn on Clinton and not recant the Russia thing? Something's amiss.
yep, Russia-gate came
from somewhere - and that somewhere likely is the DNC (run by Hillary).

It's in her book
Maybe by using the gaslighting technique so popular with the Dem establishment? "I used those words, but that's not really what I meant. You must have misunderstood what I said." Then deflect to another subject, often having to do with identity politics or Trump. From what I've seen, Brazile seems to be good at that.

Brazile denies Democratic primary was rigged
She didn't say "rigged" in her book, see. She only said the primary process wasn't fair. Oh, and that the party's integrity was compromised. From the book:
Ok, so the primary was not fair, and the party lacks integrity, because they gave Clinton control over the DNC a year before she was nominated. But that doesn't mean the nomination was rigged or fixed for HRC. (Got it. Right, Donna. This song and dance looks very silly.)
I don't get why she'd go this far, then start playing hair-splitting word games... oh no, I didn't say rigged.
What's the point? More and more it looks like she just wants her 15 minutes, and to sell some books. Sounds to me like she felt personally slighted by HRC, not to mention insulted on more than one occasion, so a little revenge for profit suits her now. Why back off certain words? I dunno. Seems cowardly to me.
Well the Clintonites are calling her a Putin stooge
"You can't just leave those who created the problem in charge of the solution."---Tyree Scott
Until Brazile came out . . .
Warren couldn't call the primary process rigged until Bernie did. He didn't.
Being the only female senator who didn't endorse her before the first primary and the 2nd to last Democratic Senator to endorse her period is an odd definition of kissing ass.
Bernie DID say something was up

You may be able to find
one of the Youtube videos where Debbie the Sane Progressive goes over her efforts to get Bernie to address the problem. Bernie's response to the DNC favoritism was nearly as pathetic as his abandoning his supporters at the convention. He wouldn't even insist that Nina Turner be allowed to give a speech.
Ted Cruz called Trump a pathological liar and he was given time at the Republican Convention to encourage attendees and viewers to vote their conscience.

This is bigger than just
the Democratic party or even the Presidential election.
What happened in 2016 was the final destruction of any semblance of a democratic process in our elections system. The big loser was not Bernie Sanders nor even his supporters. The big losers were the American people who saw the final and complete takeover of our election system by corruption. And the one last bastion against this should have been the press, but they are also captured by corruption.

Isn't this what we have been asking about Russia? Even if Russia did place some ads on Facebook telling people where to meet up to protest against police brutality or the other ads about social media big deal.
Not one person has said that Russia changed any votes. They used to say that Russia hacked 21 states voting rolls, or something like that, but inside of the article it says Russia attempted to hack....

Just curious.
I met some folks at the frozen Texas Meet Up. Navajo was very nice, and strikingly pretty. Egberto was very nice, and as much as people don't like him, so was Chris Reeves. Meteor Blades was cool too. Nominates and Bastrop were both awesome. DOV was her narcissistic self.
None seem off the rails, like him. The only one close to his hostility would be DOV, and she didn't display it in person. Cussed a lot, but so do I.
Edit: corrected Navajo from someone I've never met, but who is likely also lovely.
Yes, I have met
all of them as well. I would marry navajo 'cept I believe she is. Very gracious lady. Egberto is a great guy and has a great radio show. Chris Reeves is a great guy, is one of the hardest working people in the party, if not THE hardest working, and appears weekly (Tuesdays at 11:35am ET) on our radio show. Have no idea why he's unliked - I have spent some time with him over a beer or three and he's a guy you'd like to share a beer with. Egberto the same way. MB is also more approachable than one might think given the "status" he's earned. Great guy, as expected. Saw him once picking some trash off the floor and throw it in a trash bin. Wow, I thought to myself, the great MB picking up trash! DOV is DOV. You pretty much nailed it. Still thinks it's the '50s, wears her "I hate racists!" on her sleeve. Other than that, which she hints at almost every minute, she's a very interesting lady, has led an interesting life. Armando? Armando is all about Armando.
And, let me be clear. I'm nobody special, nor do I consider myself anyone special. It's just that I had the opportunity to set up "Daily Kos Radio" with KagroX (David Waldman) at NN12 in Providence RI, and from there (and since, at other NN Events) I've bumped into these people. I asked Chris Reeves if he wanted to be "on the radio" now and then and that turned into a weekly show. So, I'm mostly blessed in that regard. But, it's been nice to meet some of the FPers in the flesh so to speak. Sadly that place has taken the wrong fork in the road, in my opinion, but it's still nice to bump into Egberto, navajo, Smiley Creek, Chris Reeves and a few others at NN now and then. Sure, NN has crashed and burned as any sort of progressive pow wow thingy, but it still is a great place to meet some of the people you read and listen to - Sam Seder, TYT, Driftglass and blue gal, me (jk) - becuz every one of them will at least say hello.

Basic principles.
The real principle involved here is not whether this affected the primary result, it's that the DNC was (and probably still is) OK with letting candidates bail them out, (from a party bankrupted by Obama, an establishment actor), then dictate DNC policies, staff, messaging, strategy etc., to prevent any antiestablishment candidate(s) from having any chance whatsoever.
Whether it affected the primary outcome should not even be a point of debate. The principle is whether or not cheating is OK.
The did-or-did-not-affect-the-outcome argument is a diversion from the real principle.

It’s like having a judicial system where
it’s considered O.K. for prosecutor and police to lie, fabricate evidence, or even torture the defendant, unless counsel for the defendant can prove conclusively that the accused would have been acquitted without such poisoning of the process.
Of course, replace “unless” with “even if” in the above, and many people might consider that a valid description of the justice system we actually have.

Not sure who the Krieger dude is,
but he must not watch or listen to CNN very often. Since this story broke, they've aired numerous segments (daily) about Brazile's revelations. Of course, most of the discussion is somewhat dismissive of this kerfuffle--from both the Clinton and Sanders surrogates. The Dems (that I've heard) all agree on the need to unify, and move on. IOW, defeating DT in 2018 is their only imperative right now. It seems that none of them are in the mood for an intra-party cat fight.
(Thus far, I've heard interviews with Jeff Weaver, Symone Sanders, Nina Turner, Hillary Rosen, Senator Warren, and several so-called Dem strategists whose names I didn't even recognize.)
For the record, Symone Sanders repeatedly says, as she did in the article below, that “No One Stole the Election From Us.”
Just to be clear, I'm relaying what I'm hearing. It's not my opinion--it's what's being said by Dem Party shills/faithful on one Cable Channel (CNN). But, I do think that context is important--which appears to be missing from some of the Tweets that I've seen regarding Warren's interview with Jake Tapper. I'll find and post the transcript when we get back.
Warren's concern was that the Party would 'be held accountable' (whatever that means), and that Tom Perez would be capable of convincing Bernie, his representatives, and his supporters that the Dem Party primary system 'is fair.'
