Sit-a-while
on swinging porch
where tin-dippers and
sweet water
in cool touches
meet lips
from hand dug wells.
Good morning good people!
Damn, lost that poem with a wrong move of one finger; anyways, a chameleon visited on the back porch this week, sharing colors.
Another placeholder, my friends.
Morning music:
Have a great day.

Good Morning smiley and 99%'ers
Beautiful morning here in Brevard. Cool temps in the 50's this am with a high around 80 later today. Almost overnight, day lilies (the naturalized kind) have burst open into bloom all over town and in our yard.
I hope you can get things settled with your mother's care. It is tough to be the one in charge of the decision making for a parent. Best wishes in dealing with the relatives. Have a great day!
Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

Thanks for the thread. You need not miss us. We're
right here. I hope you get everything sorted out satisfactorily soon. Best wishes.

Sharing Sane Progressive update link below. Toward the end @58m or so, an ice cream truck rolls by and she remarks how symbolic the repetitive crazy sound is. My first paid job was driving an ice cream truck, I made 10% commission and that song is called Turkey in the Straw, it is classic. Every weekend for about ten hours on Saturday and again on Sunday I played it over and over and over. It's Its, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, lol.
Glad to hear more content moving from Facebook to YouTube. Some day lets talk about Sergey Brin why not.

Rigor Mortis Sets In
Just stumbled in, hot and sweaty crap!
I will be one of the organisms that will not survive global warming I can guarantee you. And just read your post. First, love the music, once again I'm the last person on the planet to have heard about pet rat St Michael. St Michael one of my favorite saints, especially driving in a blinding snow storm, he's my man. But I digress. Been there with an aged parent and no help. The deadlines for finding a place are killing, I remember racing from nursing home to nursing home, probably a dozen in 48hours, and so many questions, issues, worries, concerns that I could never hope to monitor from 3k miles away, and all blandly swept aside by some energetic 20 something person who never changed an adult diaper in her life. I liked the place my dad went to, but it turned out to have many deficiencies. My mother's place far better. Just make sure someone is checking on your parent at least every couple of days, if not every day which is far better. And ya know what? St Michael is just the guy you want watching over your mother, so get in touch.
Hi Smiley
Haven't been around much today. Kind of busy. Hope you are well. Sorry I missed you.

Saudi Arabia is turning away Qatari pilgrims
in Mecca, and won't let them into al-Haram to see the Kaaba. This is a violation of their status as custodians of the two Holy Mosques. The Saudis know how to push all the wrong buttons, this won't go over well with third party nationals.
