Putin takes U.S. to the Hague re: False Flags

The Russian President announced that Russia will officially turn to the UN in the Hague for an investigation of the chemical weapons' use in Idlib. Moscow has dismissed suggestions that the Syrian government that it backs could be behind the attack in Idlib province.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-11/putin-russia-has-learned-more-f...

It has apparently become more urgent because, he said,

We have reports from multiple sources that false flags like this one – and I cannot call it otherwise – are being prepared in other parts of Syria, including the southern suburbs of Damascus. They plan to plant some chemical there and accuse the Syrian government of an attack,” he said at a joint press conference with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Moscow

I'm still sorry that Obama stopped that Spanish judge from ruling that the principals of Bushco were war criminals.

@Raggedy Ann but the entire United States government. Apparently Putin has had enough of the Russia BS and has decided to call the US's bluff by going to the Hague. Our rogue and terrorist country needs to be stopped. This may not do it, but it is a good first step.

The leaders rotate between members. There are alliances among member states, and there are plenty of NGOs that lobby there. There is a culture of permanent authorities/bureaucrats. They can set some agendas but they cannot enforce agreements made there. The nation-members can speak and be heard. There are open sessions and dialogues, and there are closed ones. It's mission is to get nations talking to one another so as to avoid military conflict. Like the UN Security Council for example.

A rigged UN, were it possible, would shatter the organization. There is one occurrence of that I know of. It happened shortly after the Edward Snowden affair.

When the UN moved from Paris to New York, certain promises were made. The land the UN was built on would be a virtual sovereign state and the US would never use its advantage to harm or compromise the UN or its mission. But, within weeks of Snowden's NSA leak it was discovered that the private chambers of the participating members-nations were actively bugged by the NSA.

During the run-up to the Iraq War, Saddam released a trove of invoices that showed US, UK, German and French companies supplied the pre-cursers for the WMD's that he had used against both the Kurds and Iran to the UN. Its uncensored release within the UN was prevented. On its own, the Saddam regime did not have the means to manufacture, in sufficient quantity from scratch, the various WMD's they used.

This information was not reported in the western media.

Leaked report says German and US firms supplied arms to Saddam
Baghdad's uncensored report to UN names Western companies alleged to have developed its weapons of mass destruction
Tony Paterson Wednesday 18 December 2002

Iraq's 11,000-page report to the UN Security Council lists 150 foreign companies, including some from America, Britain, Germany and France, that supported Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction programme, a German newspaper said yesterday.

Berlin's left-wing Die Tageszeitung newspaper said it had seen a copy of the original Iraqi dossier which was vetted for sensitive information by US officials before being handed to the five permanent Security Council members two weeks ago. An edited version was passed to the remaining 10 members of the Security Council last night.

British officials said the list of companies appeared to be accurate. Eighty German firms and 24 US companies are reported to have supplied Iraq with equipment and know-how for its weapons programmes from 1975 onwards and in some cases support for Baghdad's conventional arms programme had continued until last year.

It is not known who leaked the report, but it could have come from Iraq. Baghdad is keen to embarrass the US and its allies by showing the close involvement of US, German, British and French firms in helping Iraq develop its weapons of mass destruction when the country was a bulwark against the much feared spread of Iranian revolutionary fervour to the Arab world.

Note the date! November 10, 2016.

The day after the election, we learn that President Obama has decided to start targeting Al Nusra, the Al Qaeda force in Syria. In other words, just as the military said in a press conference last fall, up to that point we had NOT targeted Al Nusra. Two years into our involvement in Syria and Iraq, supposedly against ISIS, we had not prevented Al Qaeda from increasing its success against the Assad regime.

Obama directs Pentagon to target al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria, one of the most formidable forces fighting Assad
By Adam Entous November 10, 2016

President Obama has ordered the Pentagon to find and kill the leaders of an al-Qaeda-linked group in Syria that the administration had largely ignored until now and that has been at the vanguard of the fight against the Syrian government, U.S. officials said.

The decision to deploy more drones and intelligence assets against the militant group formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra reflects Obama’s concern that it is turning parts of Syria into a new base of operations for al-Qaeda on Europe’s southern doorstep, the officials said.

The move underlines the extent to which Obama has come to prioritize the counterterrorism mission in Syria over efforts to pressure President Bashar al-Assad to step aside, as al-Nusra is among the most effective forces battling the Syrian government...

At today's Press Conference of Vladimir Putin and his Italian counterpart, Sergio Mattarella, the Russian President was asked for his view in regard to the US airstrike on Syria. His response revealed not a bashing of the new US administration, but the rivalries of the US “deep state” military-financial interests that potentially pressured President Trump into the airstrike on Syria. “Should anything go really wrong – Trump is who they will blame” – he said.

Moreover, Putin told reporters that Russian intelligence indicates that terrorist factions operating in Syria are planning further chemical weapons attacks, likely in regions south of Damascus. These attacks will then be used as justification for more strikes against the Assad government.

A day earlier, Fort Russ Editor in Chief, Joaquin Flores, stated the very same reasoning on RT talk-show CrossTalk Bullhorns. In his analysis, he explained that there are a lot more interests than meet the eye when it comes to the Idlib “chemical gas attack” and the subsequent US airstrike on Syria.

Yeah, I am glad that the U.N. is there. Hopefully the current administration's animosity toward the organization will mean more spirited opposition from the rest of the world.

And in my most fevered imagination, it will end-up with Amb. Nikki Haley pounding a high-heel on her desk and yelling.

Kinda like to see her and the rest of these psychopaths fitted for strait-jackets...rather grim comedy they're supplying, considering how eagerly they kill people and steal their stuff.

Hey, maybe Putin could oversee future US elections, rather than Homeland Insecurity keeping it all under Top Secret wraps?

Edit: next time, I'm going to typo at least two letters, as it seems hardly worth going back to fix one...
