Some Albums really stood out for one reason or another, but never seemed to get the recognition they deserved. There are others that I just like to play every once in a while. This is one. Sometimes it is too hard to pick between two albums by the same artist, so here are two:
Naturally, this is an open thread too.

Hope you get better soon and it's not some other dis ease with flu like symptoms!
Here in Costa Rica they got Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya Virus. We have been spraying ourselves daily but I forgot once and got bit by a mosque which drew blood. Sucked. Been over a week now with no symptoms, yay! In fact even though it is the 'dry season' we have seen very few mosquitos or other insects. Afraid the CR gov went overboard with spraying after Zika got so much play last year. Expat friend living here says they already allow more pesticide usage than other countries.
Makes me worry even more than before for all the rapidly disappearing critters....

Manha de Carnival by Luis Bonfa
This is a wonderful song and great to play - In the intro, and outro when I played it, there's a "Stairway to Heaven" type passage and I've wondered if that's where Zep got it. The song is widely known because the movie it was in was a worldwide hit and was one of the first well known Brazilian flicks.
Thanks for the Sandy Bull - not familiar other than I've heard the name but will surely give a listen.
Hope you shake the flu.

Hello
It had worldwide impact and considering the age of Page, Plant and the others, I guess they heard this music and may have been influenced by the intro and outro. Bonfa played it in clock chords which harmonized nicely.

Thanks very much el, for introducing Sandy Bull.
I was mesmerised by both pieces, and how different they are from each other. At moments while listening to Blend I felt a bit agitated, but enjoyed it’s constant changes and how the contrasts blended together. I’m glad you included the beautifully smooth Manha de Carnival.
Get well soon.
Glad you liked them.

Asserted reality
When you assert reality in direct opposition to human experience, you risk being mocked, but must thank the bad era iraqi information minister for allowing you to take his old position.
If you don't make plans for your future, someone will insist that you follow their script.

F2B's choice is: Successors must dance on TV thru nth Gen HyperDef Presence, while my words will be cut into synths to make a sound, so pure, that time-space bends to listen. Humanty will be drenched in vigor and true joy: Free from work, free from want, free to Be. pursuit life's dreams, as humans may have a decently long life, but not one that lasts forever. I strongly suspect stupid has had help from entropy, as thats what all survivors/witnesses of stupid acts, will say - the advantage stupid has is imperfection will appear as stupid in recorded history, so from this moment on, act stupidly for the right reasons and entropy will be your assistant. In other words, all successors must setup situations, when/were being most stupid, puts your failures in the best imaginable position in your constituents' favor.
