Or decide that those same people's banks should be given up to $16 trillion fucking dollars while the people who lost their homes had to jump through hoops while trying to save their homes while those CEOs were telling their employees to screw them anyway.
True leftist progressives feel that people who live in countries that have the resources that the corporations want are just as entitled to their lives as they are.

Now we all get to watch as the gotp congress installs a new dystopian nightmarish life for workers: they will show us just how nasty and brutish and (blessedly) short modern life can be.

But I disagree with your fundamental premise. imo it's appropriate to protest this turn of events. It's appropriate for people to finally make a stand against tptb, and against the rape-bully-kill-n-steal culture represented by the gop, as well as against the tacit complicity to that culture represented by the feckless dems. @annominous Oh, they found one. They found him and then they purged his supporters from the party. And from the voter rolls generally. Then they convinced him, doesn't matter how, to run around the country being their moral alibi. Which worked on some of his supporters, and, apparently, didn't work on a lot more.

Given that a lot of his supporters were independents originally, I suppose it's not surprising that the standard party line didn't work on them, even delivered by him.

We (my spouse and I) are not happy camper's--we'll eventually be affected by a loss [projected by experts] of between $50,000 and $60,000 dollars over our lifetime, as will millions of other American couples.

During the campaign, FSC basically spouted empty and vague platitudes--nothing more.

I was feeling kind of guilty about not attending the Women's march tomorrow but as a nihilistic purist woman and a far lefty fucking re#*#d I have nothing to contribute. The main organizer of this Portland march is some kind of Hillbot/Puma and want's no other groups to be included. The scheduled Saturday labor march is separate and will meet up with the marching women after the pro-labor rally. I heard the labor organizer talking on local radio this morning and he did not sing Obama's praises.

My fb feed is filled with people mourning Obama and Joe's leaving as they were such classy psycho killers. What are the odds that Cory Booker,Chuck,Nancy or any of these Third Way Dems. will obstruct the worst evil ever? Will they put the prescribed remedies for abuse of power they took off the table during the Bush regime back?
