Recent Kinder Morgan Protests in Vancouver, BC.
I will, when I get moved, join the groups fighting pipelines in Oregon.
The connection is a bit slow at this time so I may write more later.

When the Keystone Pipeline
was still under consideration, or more accurately, the fight was on, I looked up a map showing pipelines (above ground) across the continental United States. It was astounding the number of these lines that exist already. They are everywhere..

I have been involved
In fighting oil trains along the Columbia. It seems to me we should fight this stuff as a region. Not have to fight it in Oregon only to then fight it in Washington or visa versa.

I hope to be involved in coalition building. It is obvious that state, national, or other political boundaries do not in anyway delineate the extent of the issues, and concerns.
