Obama's YouTube Endorsement Video - Epic Fail

Obama cut a video for Hillary, but omg is it going over like a lead balloon. As of right now, 19k likes, 51k dislikes. I've tried multiple times throughout the day, but the actual comments on the video have never displayed once for me. Earlier this afternoon, it showed over 9,000 comments, but when you went to look at them, it always said, "Comments unable to load." Yah right. And now, not only does it still show no comments but the number of them has also been scrubbed.

I listened but didn't watch (spouse said Obama shook his head in side to side negative motion, classic repudiation of what he was saying; did he?). From words alone, he sounded high on the phony scale. The way Clinton does most of the time. Obama can turn on the "genuine," the preach it, brother! oratory when he wants to. My impression: He didn't sound as if he cared about selling it. As if it were barely a cut above pro forma.

As part of my prior profession I dedicated some time to studying the subject and it really isn't that hard once you learn the basic signs to look for as far as micro-expressions and verbal tics go.

Even through my headphones I could not hear clearly
what Reid said. But Bernie sure looked silenced and troubled. As painful as it is to see, it also represents a genuine expression of Bernie, with which he always seems to respond. It's probably the one most significant characteristic of Bernie, his sincerity.
Obama doesn't look too thrilled or dedicated to what he's saying. Maybe it's somewhat of a genuine expression on his part, and expresses his truly conflicting feelings. These are truly not happy occasions. Wish America would choose happiness over more misery.
I disagree about Obama.
I think a lot of people are ascribing feelings to him that reflect how we would feel. Most of us are not in a position to gloat over pulling a fast one over a massive group of people which is exactly what he is doing--pretty much for eight years and more now. This is just one more hoodwink. Otherwise, he would have said something about the voting issues among other things.

What I think I find most revealing
is how difficult it is to understand how someone really feels, or what they really believe when trust and transparency are so heavily compromised. Oh well.
I think Bernie was being steamrolled.
I think it was a press conference set up for Bernie to announce his concession/endorsement for H, but he hadn't agreed to that. Now, he starts out with a small smile to the reporters, but the first question is how he feels about Obama's endorsement of Hillary. What I wonder is if this was news to him at this point. (At Bernie's press conference earlier, outside the WH, he expressed gratitude that Obama & Biden had not endorsed during the primary. I think Obama failed to tell him that he was about to endorse H at that time, but probably asked B to endorse her & drop out of the race.) Anyway, what can B say now, and with Reid sitting right there? Reid takes over, but there's not really anything for him to say either. Still, he gets in some denigration of Bernie by hammering home that HIS caucus is still open to Bernie. Reid is affirming that he is an establishment head of the party & Bernie is not.
In this video, I really
couldn't make out what Reid was saying other something about no questions now. To me, Sanders looked quite crestfallen, and I think you are right in that he did not know. This is painful.

That is so true. Snowden is correct.
Thing is, he also points to why this is the wrong way to attack Hillary -- and she deserves a mountain of criticism for her policies and views on a host of things. Primarily her love of war, empire, capitalism, the destruction of the commons here and around the world, Wall Street, etc. etc. Ironically, her love of the surveillance state, too. Her love of Kissinger, etc.
She has done soooo many far worse things than set up a private email server. And it makes no sense to applaud Snowden for his leaks -- which I do -- and then to go after Clinton for potential leaks via a private server. Yes, one can accuse her of stupidity, egotism and sloppiness. But this simply doesn't rise above the usual asinine and hubristic behavior endemic to both political parties. What does go beyond that are her views on war (and her direct participation in the decision-making), the extension of American capitalism via force, and the obvious quid pro quo nature of her relationship with billionaires and Wall Street.
I truly don't get the fixation on the email server by some of her critics, and I count myself among them.

around emails having to do with drone strikes in Pakistan. She was okaying them from her phone. And now the intelligence community has that info. This has moved beyond a matter of 'convenience' and into a criminal investigation because there is NO WAY anyone could claim that they didn't know that communications like that weren't top secret.

The reason you see your comment
is because ONLY you can see it. I don't know if it was in this thread or elsewhere, but one trick they do on YT is show you your comments, but not show them to anyone else. Because you see it, you assume others can as well.
But if you log out of your google account and reload the page in a different browser (maybe clear the cookies and history first) you will see that there's no comment publicly available on that page.
It's easier to censor people when they don't even know they've been censored....

decided to check a couple other videos on that channel to see if there were any comments to be seen. Interestingly, not a single comment to be found, yet comments aren't disabled at all. And I feel I know precisely why, given my youtubing hobby: all comments are being held for review. At least, that's what I'm thinking. I'm not sure if that would retroactively remove comments from all videos, but it's the only option I know of that allows people to still post comments, yet have none of the comments show up. I expect that the videos on that channel will gradually start having glowing, praising comments popping up as time goes on, while absolutely nothing negative is seen anywhere. I also expect that the like/dislike bar will suddenly be rendered invisible to our lying and hateful eyes.
