This is BOLD!
That guy in shackles? He was president of a country a few months ago.
He was also considered a key U.S. ally in the "War on Drugs".
Is it collective amnesia? Have people forgotten the lie of WMD's? How about the democracy we brought to Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan? Do people think those countries are better off now than before we destroyed them? Are we so propagandized we've become blind? Sure seems so. The acceptance of absurdity seems systemic to me... down to and including today's time change. As usual, it may be that we're a dollar short and a day late ...but today we're also an hour early
(to give you an extra hour to shop after work)
Sanctions don't have a great track record for making political change possible. Just look toward Cuba as an example.
Afternoon folks!
I've got four playlists for you this week from Magic Slim, Memphis Slim, Roomful of Blues and Brownsville Station.
The Memphis Slim album is missing a track which a rights organization has blocked and the Brownsville Station album is mostly complete, I will upload the last couple of tracks late Saturday night or Sunday sometime.
Enjoy!

Winter is officially over - chickens have started laying. Fresh egg omelets are back on the menu. Crocuses are blooming. Tis the season for dreaming of bountiful harvests from the seeds being planted and warmer days.
Reality check. Uncertainty is in the air. Prices up, armed conflict in another part of the world, fuel disruptions, drought warnings. Is this a repeat of the 1970's which ended with 12 years of a Republican in the presidency. Spontaneous events or a push with propaganda?
