Folks, we shit on our kids. Our party did not do for them what it did for many of us. I can’t live with that. In fact, my own kids, who I taught well, have challenged me. My own rhetoric thrown in my face, and they won!
I can’t sell establishment incrementalism and compromise to them. I can’t sell it to myself either. Not anymore.
Okay, I do not have time to dwell on this item today, but an interesting article about funding Bernie's campaign. He raised $4 million alone this weekend. His first quarter and March totals will crush Hillary's fundraising totals.

Imagine the headline, Tens of Thousands of People Poisoned by, {then insert name of bad dictator the US does not have any use for anymore}, and you have the same basic headline for the last 40 to 100 years. The call for a bombing campaign, if not all out war would be immense. Just think for a moment, when the people of Crimea voted overwhelmingly in a referendum to secede to Russia in 2014, we had TV pundits, a retired general on Tee Vee, calling to Kill more Russians.
So I'm bouncing around this morning reading here and there. Robert Reich piece is worthwhile. Robert Reich sees the future: America’s two-party system is finished. It a fictionalized view of the year 2020, rather tongue in cheek:

Being a political junkie and wanting to perform my civic duty and exercise my rights, I set off Saturday morning to caucus in the great state of Washington. After attending Bernie’s rally in Seattle the evening before, they informed me to be there early.
