It's a fact that our Democracy is set up to favor a two-party system. Any third party has an extreme uphill climb to get even modest electoral success. I have come to the conclusion that the Democratic Party is not or should not be a private club that belongs to some wealthy elites, even though they may act like it does. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are both in essence instruments of access for coming to power in our democratic system.
and I am watching as the program goes from "plucky resistance movement" to "extinction burst" and yet there is the symphony of Root and Shaw (spoiler alert)
There will be another program for those with apocalyptic worries about the global surveillance meta-state and the advances of artificial intelligence.
Unlike the role of individual folks like Manning and Snowden, it will take a community, properly armed.
Latinos don't seem to like how Trump has talked about them. Latinos used to like the Republican party a lot more, back when Bush was running for president. Bush had the chance to be governor of Texas, which helped him talk to a part of the Latino community, which helped him. Since then, it hasn't been a good relationship between the Republican party and Latinos.
Yesterday was the start of the Stanley Cup Finals. It was also the day, 3 years ago, we lost our Shinobi (Shi-No-Be) to very old age. I shared about our loss and I shared about what a good girl Shinobi was. I hadn't been able to do that in so long, mostly because we had been inundated with so many other deaths. 10 in 8 years. So we are healing. Yesterday was healing.
And I wanted to test out my home here on CC99%. I feel like a bit of a rescue pup here myself.
According to The Hill, "Clinton allies" are blaming Bernie Sanders for Hillary Clinton's poor performance in recent opinion polls. They complain that Sanders' continued attacks on Clinton and his failure "to begin bringing everyone together” hurts Hillary Clinton because it "... holds her back from controlling the narrative.” What I see are changes in the U.S.
This is breaking news by David Shuster:
Sources: @HillaryClinton lawyer D. Kendall has reminded @FBI Clinton is under NO legal obligation to give interview. #clintonemails
Hi,
Just in case you haven't gotten the email reminder from Bernie, due to Hillary and the DNC rigging all the spam filters to auto-junk Bernie emails.
Tonight is the end of the month; last chance to donate to Bernie during the primary!
1) Send a clear signal that We Are All Still Bernin
2) Ensure Bernie has the money on hand to win CA and the other soon to vote state
A short time ago I saw a comment with a survey in one of the C99P article. I thought, "I should check this out."
