Since this came up in a thread and I've read this and another similar article recently calling bs on it And more than one poster asked, I figured I'd do a brief post, show an excerpt and link the damn thing. While the article I'm linking is from 1985, I haven't found the other, more recent one, although the more recent one Quotes this one. Still with me? Yeah, me neither.
Anyway-
While the GOP is still under the control of the pro-Israeli lobby, it appears that the Democratic Party is slipping out of their grasp. It started with the anti-BDS bill.

Interesting developments over the past 24 hours regarding who's in, who's out, and who's waffling on whether or not they'll jump into the 2020 Democratic presidential primary fray.

I've no doubt written a few diaries on climate change, and they probably weren't my most popular diaries -- but this ought to be a bit of fun. The day before yesterday there appeared a piece "the big problem with climate 'realism,'" with a fun picture of Nancy Pelosi on the front. This is from "The Week." At any rate, the piece argues:

It's Day 65 of the Year 2019 CE (Gregorian), meaning that it's March 6, 2019
The issue of reparations is obviously a trap designed specifically for Bernie Sanders.
No one else is getting interrogated on this issue. Only Bernie.
The obvious reason is because it feeds into the bullsh*t Bernie Bros narrative.
If anyone is here from the state of Iowa, please see the following page--especially if you are an interested caucus-goer. The Iowa Democratic Party has changed the rules significantly, and comment on some of the change proposals closes March 13, 2019. Yes, the page is in support of Tulsi, but it would apply equally to Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren supporters, or whomever you support.
