Who had a direct interest in Trump's election?
Well, since his campaign promise to end our involvement in foreign interventions would directly benefit the Arab populations in the ME, I would think Israel, since they have a large population of Arabs.
And his promise to solve the Palestinian situation drew that cohort to support him.
Think in terms of the team that loses the Super Bowl.
